Story wise I can't see a reason for any mage to not have at the very least basic healing spells. You'd have to be an idiot if you didn't learn at least some cause at some point you know you're going to need them.

I think Morrigan would prefer drain life every time.

And healers? Who needs 'em? Sure, it's a bit harder, but I've done two of my three playthroughs without any. I'll take a fellow shem-hating elf any day (though unlike Morrigan, I think I can justify giving her Heal and Regeneration without it breaking my roleplay sensibilities).

I picture Valenna as more of a crowd controller. Pair up her Keeper skills with blizzard and lightning storm and you've got yourself an Elven Goddess =))
Ander's would make a cute healer ^_^v
I won't have any problems being the main cleric of the group. :))

I will be severely disappointed if the Keeper specialization does not include tree minions.

It should.....what's the use of being a keeper if you can't have sylvans bashing stuff for you :))

Exactly my point!

It would make sense for Morrigan to know some healing spells, since she's so far outside of civilization it would behoove her to have some survival skills besides herbalism. And we know that Flemeth has powerful healing abilities.

It's also possible that Flemeth avoided teaching her any healing spells. To make Morrigan more dependent on her, and less likely to just.. leave. Because with how much Morrigan dislikes her mother, if she felt she were capable of getting away from her forever, I bet she would. Being able to heal herself would further her independence.

My party atm is made of me- 2h berserker, shale - tank, morrigan- elemental/entropy mage and sten- 2h dps , I'm thinking of replacing sten with wynne cause he's the only one without any specialization, anyway i killed wynne yesterday night in the mage's tower cleansing thing so i'm gonna reload and get her in my party , I'm looking forward to the fight with flemeth :)
