This is the first game I have attempted to use mods with, so I'm probably going to sound like a complete idiot.

Anyways, I downloaded smaller mods first, like more CC options, and got those to work fine. But I recently tried to download some of the larger stuff, and I'm not sure if it's working right.

When I try to open it, all I get is this screen:



Now, I took a wild guess, selected "Fragments_of_Ferelden_1_0_1-520.dazip" and hit the bottom right button. It looks like it's loading, but it never goes beyond that, no matter how long I leave it alone.

While I don't know the answer, I'm pretty sure I've seen that pop up in the tech support help once in a while. I'm not sure if maybe the DAZIP file got corrupted during the download somehow and how the game's normal updater (DAUpdater) would react.

Another alternative is to download DAModder or DAO-Modmanager and try using them to install. Since it seems like a common question for DAModder - I believe you still just run the app from wherever you extract it instead of having to install the program first. If either of those two programs crash on start up, it may be related to not having the required version of .NET installed.
