don't think that title spoils anything. I'm not sure if this belongs in this forum or in the technical problems forum...

So I've had something infuriating happen a couple of times now. First, last week, I was playing through the Dalish origin, and when I had come back to the dungeon with merrill, an invisible object was blocking my path and I could not go on. I deleted her and tried again, and the object wasn't there and I could complete the origin. Now the same thing has happened, only on my mage who has 50+ hours already. I am not starting over my mage, even from around the broodmother point, one of my latest alt. saves. does anyone know what causes this? I've tried restarting my laptop, didn't help.

Where is the object that is blocking you? Sometimes when you open a door it assumes you can't get through yet (the game essentially hasn't given you permission). Where is the object?

both times it has been right in the doorway. I can hit tab, and it shows "Invisible Object", and I can even click on it as if to interact, but nothing happens and I can't walk past it, again, both times. there was another one in the deep roads somewhere, but I got around that one, barely.

Where are you in the Quest? Are you on the PC? You could use a cheat to teleport you to a location near you. I've looked around and I can't find anything about invisible objects.

I've gotten the pouch of ashes for Eamon, and I think I saved right at the problem. I am on PC, but would that teleport involve the console? I haven't been able to get it to work.

I'm gonna make a guess that you are using the Advanced Tactics 3 mod.  The author has created a fix for the problem available here.

It might not get rid of any existing invisible objects, but will prevent any further ones from spawning.
