I have stone prisoner installed and enabled, but have not seen any information in my quest journal about it. Doesn't seem to be there, to get the quest going, is there someone I need to talk to or what? The code said I'd have instructions to follow in my quest journal, I don't have any.
Help would be appreciated, thanks.

On the far west of your World Map, the road just to the left of Lake Calenhad (sp?), if you travel up that road (you can go to/from anywhere you want to provided the path takes you up that road) and you'll be stopped halfway up by the "quest giver".
Trying to keep it spoiler free, but let's just say you can't get to that point until you have access to your World Map and have completed the first stop on it. In other words, you can't get him until that point in the game.

Note save before you talk to merchant!
there is a bug where he does not put the quest spot on your map.. so reloading the save and trying again may be needed...

I was not so lucky and have a broken quest now... no quest icon on my map after I talk to him.. and he goes away after talking...

Ok. . . So, I took that road to the far west via traveling (black inky blots) and I didn't encounter anyone who gave me anything regarding shale, at all. . . I went to cliffside, thrashed some tough bounty hunters, and explored the town a bit. A guy named Ferayn was nervous about showing me his wares, but yarr. No rod, no story, nothing put in my quest journal. I could really use a big strong golem. : p Anyone care to give me a little more precision on the matter?
