Have downloaded the character generator and tried using the more hairstyles mod, no matter what I do it doesn't show up in either the game character generator or the character generator itself. The character generator also says I can purchase it., where from? The page it redirects to is not there. Now totally confused. Can anyone help?

go to "Dragon Age Nexus"
There you find all kinds of mods.
Also: The Appearance mods were made by different modders, but they worked together, for making them function all at once, so you need special files from the site, so that they work.

You need to download the mod you want then extract the zip file into
'documents\\bioware\\dragon age\\packages\\core\\override'
make sure you extract the file, not just plonk the zip file in there or it won't work.
MAKE SURE you have the correct chargenmorphcfg file. The best way to do this is to delete the one you already have and use the one that comes with the mod. If the mod doesn't have one then don't worry.

More Hairstyles requires an edited chargenmorphcfg file, but it's provided with the mod package and can go in the same directory as the mod. You may need to go to your install directory \\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\Packages\\Core\\Override and delete an extra chargemorphcfg file from that directory as well.

hes using the chargen exe. not the game. you cant mod the chargen exe as far as i know. jsut buy the game :S
