1. DLC achievements are bugged to hell, and anyone that got the game in the first few days now is unable to get those achievements.  We got em, but because they were bugged they didn't show up and it won't let us go back and get them again on another play-thru.

2. I was playing just fine earlier, saved my game to log off and go watch a football game, now I log back in and the game won't load any of my save files ... Umm?  This EA server crap needs to go.

You guys seriously need to fix the problems with achievements and loading saved games.  Why does the game need to connect with the damn EA servers to work?  That is probably what's screwing everything up.  You couldn't just give us codes to download from Xbox Live, could you?  At least that way if something went wrong we could get the DLC again because Live keeps track of what you have already downloaded and will let you download it again if your drive crashes or what not.  The way you guys did it if our drive crashes we're screwed, no more DLC.

I have no other complaints for the game, I think it looks great and I was having a great time with it until the bugged achievementsand hearing I'll never be able to get them again unless you guys patch the game.  Now I can't even load a saved game where I'm near the end?  So I lose 50 hours of time and have to play from the start again?  Fix the game!!  I paid $100 for the collector's edition and the guide and now I can't even play, this is ridiculous.

Yeah I have the same sort of problem. If I'm not connected to the internet my game files won't load because the collectors edition items and one of the two (only one mind you) items I got as a preorder bonus aren't accessible.



As soon as I connect to the internet problem solved. Except the fact that the cables barely reach and are stretched across my room and the hallway outside to get to the ethernet port. Why the hell won't it just download properly and save itself to the 60gig harddrive like all the other DLC? It's not like there isn't space.

i have the same problem. its because of the lucky stone for me. If i don't log into xbox live and the ea server i can't load my game. if i could find a way to download the lucky ring onto the xbox hard drive i think it would fix the problem but i haven't figured out a way to do that yet.

I'm actually online though, and it still won't load my saved games. Worked fine earlier, then decided to stop loading for some reason. I'm getting very frustrated. I had to throw a different game in because DA won't play.

This is happening to me as well. I can't load my save files (any of them) after a certain point in the game. I noticed that the EA servers were down when the problem started happening but I restarted from the point where the game would load and replayed everything and get the same issue once I was connected to the servers. This is VERY frustrating and I"m angry to think that I may have to start over after having about 30 hours logged into the game.

So has anyone commented on these issues yet in any other posts? Are they acknowledging there is a problem, or how they are going to fix it? I still can't load my saves from yesterday. I tried unplugging the network cable, but then it's even worse saying it can't find the DLC content. This is BS, why the hell does the game need to connect to a server to be played?!? This game is NOT an online game, and should not have to be online to work. So when I go visit my family for Thanksgiving for an entire week and want to take my Xbox with me, I can't play this game because of this server crap? I realize it's probably a test of some sort, and a new kind of copy protection. But all you are doing is ****ing over people that actually PAID for the game. And I tried getting the bugged achievements again today with a second character, but that didn't work. The achievement screen on the Xbox says I don't have them, but they still won't pop up again. And contrary to what someone else said earlier, I think it has everything to do with the Bioware/EA server that it connects to when you load the game up. Their server says we have those achievements, so it won't let me get them again.



And if you don't plan on fixing these things, can I get a full refund for my pre-order from EA since you sold me a broken game? Wasting 50 hours to get towards the end of a story, only to have it tell me it can't load my saves anymore is ridiculous. I did start another character, but who's to say this crappy server won't decide in 2 or 3 days that it doesn't like the save files for that character either. So I'm not even going to waste the time only to have the damn thing screw up a second time. I'd like ot know what's being done about this though, and if Mass Effect 2 is going to have to connect to these ****ty servers to be played you can count me out on that one. I'm not going thru this again with another EA game. I tend not to support EA because I don't like them, but this game looked good so I took a chance. And now it's just a bunch of frustration and wasted money on a game that doesn't work as intended. WTF M8?
