I found it enjoyable to play, but it really does pale in comparison to Bringing Down the Sky. Probably not worth the $5 to most people because of that. Does provide an easy way to get some high level equipment in the end, though.

Yeah, if you have any Mastery Achievements left, usually PS makes them easier to unlock.  Especially the Tech achievements because most of your opponents are geth.

Oh yes, and becomes a good way to get experience for those people looking to get to level 60 in two playthroughs.

From the wiki :
* If you completed the Bring Down the Sky there will be a newscast about a memorial celebration on Terra Nova
* If you saved Kate Bowman she will send you an e-mail thanking you. She will also be mentioned in a newcast saying she will be giving a speech on Terra Nova during the Cellebration about the fallen alliance soldiers
* If the hostages died or the player did not complete the Bring Down the Sky mission, a newscast will mention that a Reverend Bowman will hold a prayer session for them. If the hostages were saved a newscast will mention Balak escaped and is still at large.

My addition : Pinncle station ain't worth it but die hard fans like me bought it anyway and hated it.

EDIT : lol, ninjad.

Completely agree!!

PS usually only take about 30-45 mins to complete. While it is not the best although the view it has is great. I'd say it is worth doing to get the apartment.

Pinnacle station, as others have said, is pretty poor. However, it does have one fantastic view in it, out of the station's window. Other than that and the achievements, it was entertaining for all of three seconds.

I HATED it!

It is pure button thumping shooter.

That said, there are benefits: you can play "Survival", drop the diffleculty down, use other weapons/talents/techs that you normally don't use that much, and get the achievements, since people say the 'kills' count in the simulations.

Once you win all, you can buy some REALLY high level stuff

I don't think Pinnacle Station is that bad as an aside and gives the best spot in the entire game to put a character through their paces. On the down side its not really what you play ME for and difficulty of some of the challenges on insanity suggests it was never properly tuned for that difficulty. Doing it all in one block gets very tedious.

But its 400 point DLC. If it were 800 points it would be pretty shocking but for 400 points, as an extra to the whole game its aright.

How do you fly the transporter in Overlord ???. I spend hours crashing into rocks and getting nowhere. Anybody that travels with me in the transporter will have severe concussion and kidney damage. A list of all the key commands would be appreciated.

Um, you'd probably get a better response if you asked this in one of the ME2 Forums.

I can't help you, though, because I play on the XBox 360. Sorry.

I thought it was fun just to get in the game to shoot some stuff, gets old pretty quick though. I think in Mass Effect 2 it would be fun again if it was free. Because after you finish the game entirely you can't go back and shoot stuff if your just wanting to kill time for alittle. I think Ive replayed the game like 10 times now playing thru Garrus Archangel area.

Hmm, do you even get experience from killing mobs in PS? I didn't get a little pop-up notification for XP after killing guys there. Well to me PS is worth it for the reward at the end. I believe that's the only way to get some specific weapons/armor which I used for the rest of the game.
