I don't like tea, I love coffee though. this is the real reason I moved out of England, they kicked me out for disrespecting the tea

ok that last part may not be entirely true

Times have changed! Our tea hating brothers and sisters are now more welcome to step outside without being harrassed by Tetleys tea. You still can't openly say you don't drink tea to most Yorkshire farmers though.

I have the weird habit of actually saying that out loud before I pour myself a cup.

I have 3 standard kinds: a black and high on coffeine, a milder and a bit lighter and a jasmine one for the night.

Generaly I switch blends.

I think people who don't switch blends every now and then miss out. tea has so much variety to offer.

I don't like tea, it's like coca cola for old people.

Indeed it is.
I have Ceylon tea twice a day with a little bit of sugar(once in the morning and once in the evening).
Love tea, can't stand instant coffee though.

Tea is the Divine Ambrosia (by contrast, coffee is the Broth of Satan and is a one-way ticket to the fiery pits of doom).

My usual is a black blend of Assam and Ceylon, with a drop of whole milk. I have a few oolong blends as well for mealtimes; they're lighter which tends to go better with food, in my opinion.

Tea works well with über-spicy foods; it calms down your mouth and lets you taste the rest.

I'm more of a coffee person. Maybe I've had bad tea one too many times? I rarely enjoy the taste. When I do drink tea it's to relax my nerves. A warm cup of chamomile comes in handy then.

There are so many wonderful teas!

I find that coffee drinkers who are turned off of tea simply haven't yet found the right one. ; ) One'd recommend that they try the dark "cooked" pu'er (bo lei/bolay) tea from Yunnan, which brews into a lovely rich tea. (I personally cannot stand it -- I prefer the "raw" green pu'er -- but my partner, a coffee drinker, adores it.) It's also a popular tea amongst dieters here as people believes that it helps them lose weight.

There's nothing, absolutely nothing more satisfying than having a seat outside the bar with a good friend, a cup of tea and a cigarette.

And cookies, of course.
