Is there any way to not have the sniper rifle zoom in when using powers while in cover?

My favorite weapons in this game are the sniper rifles but when I play as an Infiltrator and use incinerate that sudden and unwanted zoom can be disorienting especially with infiltrators sniper zoom time dilatation.

No, but they said they wanna fix it for ME3.

You could just get out of cover for a moment, launch your power, then go back into cover. The real issue is that when you use powers behind cover it immediately zooms in as if you were aiming down the sights.

use power through zoom does have the benefit of letting you hit enemies out of normal range.

You also get time dilation so its quite alot safer than using Incinerate out of cover or with SMG equipped. Its disorienting at first but you get used to it.
