It ran like a charm on my under-spec PC! Nary a stutter or clip in sight!

Tbh, I only downloaded it to run through the hoops for the Lucky Stone DLC for use on my 360, but it looks like my PC may be able to run this game after all! (Yeah, I know, the CC is only one character model with no effects, but still, a boy can dream, can't he?)

Anyhoo, my specs:

P3: 2.8ghz
1 Gig Ram
GeForce 9400GS 1 Gig

Maybe my rig can run the game on you-should-be-ashamed-of-yourself-this-is-so-dugly low settings :)

You have an ok rig.. you'd definitely need a lot more ram to run the game. To be safe though.. (unless you want to spend money on upgrades.) I would go ahead and buy it for the 360. No reason to shell out $60 bucks and then be disappointed when your computer doesn't run it well. The CC really is nothing much to run.. It uses less ram then photoshop. The actual game is going to use a lot more resources.

Thx - I was actually thinking of doubling that RAM tomorrow.

As for the PC/360 thing, I prefer Mouse/Keyboard over controller any day of the week for my rpgs. I've heard people complain that the Witcher doesn't play well on M/K, but I personally loved it. The other reason I'd prefer it on PC is because of the modding community.

That said, the first time I played NWN was on a rig that *just* met the system requirements and was laggy as all get out on outdoor environments - the thought of going through that again with DAO somehow makes me feel... nostalgic? heh

Weird, I know.

I'm surprised how well my laptop can run it as well. The real test will come when the actual game is released and it has to process all that blood splatter although, hah.
