It's the same like with Alistair. I killed him back in DA origins at the end of landsmeet. And now he lives. So? Another option i made that Alistair sacrificed himself so... He still lives. So about Morrigan i think she will be with the baby but a bit later

Heh. I'd dig to play as my god-child demon spawn in the future! Especially if by that time my main protagonist from DA-O has said his farewells in the deep roads.



That being said however, I really do hope the love affair between Morrigan & himself is properly resolved & given its due before then.

It's possible... Morrigan will probably be just trying to avoid the Templars... remember, if they DO find her, they won't be as nice to her as you were... especially if they find she's with child.they'll probably try to kill her.  However if Alistair finds her, he may do everything within his power to keep her hidden.  Like it has been suggested, and I'm starting to agree with people, that she's very well hidden.  She outsmarted the Grey Wardens AND Templars before and if she isn't there in the expansion, she'll probably resurface in 2, hopefully in a more talkative mood. The only question I have is, and it sounded like there was going to be more than one expansion if she'll be in one of the other ones before 2 as well.  You see, I'm not sure of how big of a time gap the two main games will be you see.  It may be 20 years, it may be another world all together... Or it may be more like NWN 1 where they took a break with the first expansion where they had Aribeth in the first game, took her out in Shadows and brought her back in Hordes of Underdark.  It's just a suggestion and it MIGHT be the route they chose to go, but I'm not really sure. I don't work for Bioware and I'm only guessing.

I still say Dao 2 should have 2 separate stories all together. One would be for imported characters that did the dark promise and romanced morrigan. The second should have nothing at all to do with the dark promise or at least, keep a large chunk of information out requiring the dark promise storyline to be played to grasp the full concept. Another acceptable idea would be make one story leliana/shale/sten and the other morrigan. As these three had the more interesting personal plots that actually can lead to a new game.

I think Morrigan bleached her hair and goes by the name of Velanna now. Wondering how her ears got pointy though.

well Morrigan is a very important character since she is on the 2 start up screens plus she has the voice of the sci-fi cult figure that is Claudia Black, Make 2 really good reasons to take the romance option towards her. Seriously i feel the game as if my character was an intruder in a fantasy book, Morrigan has a lot in common with Morgana Lafey of the Arthurian legends but not just plain evil and Alistair a kind of goody Uther Pendragon. I do feel most Morrigan male fans out there wants to crack her up and finally get their own bad girl.

Claudia Black (Real Life Morrigan) was unable to fill in for long term voice acting spots with Bioware studios for awakening.  Perhaps once her schedule dwindles from her other projects she may be able to pay a longer visit with Bioware studios and include her in a future expansion ...

i hope that we get to see her in a future game/ expansion and resolve everything between us because before she left she admited to my warden she loves him and will never forget him ect ect, and my warden vowed to find her again, i would love for them to find each other again and re-kinddle an old flame in there hearts.

I hope we get to see her again in either an expansion or a DLC. in Awakenings they only mention in the epilogue that you leave the Grey Wardens and head into the west to search for your Dark Haired love.

Since Morrigan is based off of The Morigan from Celtic myths it's pretty possible that the 'child' will be full grown (into what I don't know) pretty fast. Lots of Celtic heroes and stuff look twice their age and are as powerful as full grown adults. So having it take place a couple years later or something wouldn't be too much of stretch. Plus it'd be cool to think your GW was roaming around for along time looking for her.



As for whether you did the DR or not, it'd be tricky but if the baby old god is mosterous, there could be a different explanation for it if you started a new character. Playing through DA:O a couple of times, Bioware seem pretty awesome at having a character say the same thing to the PC and having it read totally different depending on the context.

My awakening ending said that my Grey Warden joined up with Leliana again and that they adventured together for a time. They were apparently last seen together in Denerim. This ending assumes you romanced her in Origins of course. However I also romanced Morrigan that same playthrough before going to Leliana and I vowed to find her to Alistair and Morrigan herself, sucks that it didn't mention that in the ending. It seems to me that the endings that I've heard in Awakening so far are the perfect set up for DA2. I mean you end up leaving the wardens which is a great excuse for Bioware to get rid of all your skills except for the bare essentials that you kept up in your travels (kind of like in ME2). The endings in Awakening could serve as possible 'origin' stories. Example one could be you traveled to the West to look for Morrigan and another could be your on an errand for a friend with Leliana in Denerim. Or Bioware could just use your ending in Awakening as a starting off point, or invent all new origin stories similar to the ones I just mentioned but you just happen to stumble upon the characters from the first game. As long as you get the chance to play as your warden from Origins and as long as the Morrigan babydemonoldgodfishmonster  thing is resloved, i'll be happy. Plus some of the party members from the original would be nice.

in the epilouge it says something like the warden commander found his red haired bard again and they went off traveling. but it also makes it sound like speculation, which is annoying because i missed her presence in awakening.

as for Morrigan i really hope DA2 focuses on her plot line, and if it does i will have to replay awakening with my mage from DA1 that romanced her . or play the first game again, but since it already took close to 100 hours of my life i don't see that happening.

I've been through Awakenings twice. For both Leianna and Morrigan. They never make an appreance untill the end. If you Romanced Leianna you go off to find her and continue your adventures with her. Or in the case of Morrigan you leave the Wardens and head to the west to Find your Dark haired Loved and your child.. You just basicly get a small paragraph in the epilogue.

Yes to the Bolded, No to the the unbolded. The Problem I got with the unbolded, is Awakening's bugged ending... I had my Warden swear to find Morrigan, TWICE... However, my Awakening's warden apparently changed his mind, without me knowing.
