I was playing with my settings and trying to cut back on load times when I decided to cut my standard resolution for Windows to 1024x768 instead of the normal 1600x1050.  Then I played the game with windowed screen.  This didn't help so I just changed back to full screen but not changing my standard windows resolution from 1024x768 to 1600x1050.  Then i had a thought "take a screenshot" and it worked.  If I wanted screenshots I had to switch to window frame on the game instead of full screen but it seems that when the resolution for your standard windows settings is different from your game settings then it won't take the screenshot.  I haven't tested this out yet but I'm going to.
