Cos having TEN squadmates which having interactions with and spending time gaining their loyalty (which basically the game revolves around) it totally not RPG in any shape or form, amirite?Kristofer1 wrote...
having a non fully immersed side kick makes the game even less for an rpg and more of a shooter. amazing. another shooter. and to think i bought the game because it was going to be a rpg. apparently i was wrong, sequels now change game play. cut content and then charge that same cut content as DLC which has nothing to do with the story the series is based on. reapers. amazing. at least make it a worthwhile mission or something. something interesting. like the asteroid thing for ME1. even though that was a waste as well. at least it was a RPG

Would you guys who would happily pay for this be equally satisfied in buying a car with no windshield, rear doors or passenger seats?
And hey, maybe the windshield and rear doors get sent to you a week later, for "free". You must be ecstatic now.
The passenger seats? You'll have to pay for those. $500 please. What? It's only a fraction of what you paid for the car! Quit complaining.
Its just on a bigger scale.
How bout this one
You buy the new next gen game console, get home open it up and you get this card. On the card it says you have to call an 800 number to register your newly bought console so the can send you the the controler, stand and memery unit for free, but you have to pay an extra $150.00 for the special power supply to actually power up your new next gen console that you just paided for.
Sorry, but these are really poor examples to cite. Doors, seats, and windshield are basic parts of a car vital to its functionality. Same goes for the game console's power supply. Same absolutely does not go for one squadmate (in addition to ten that are ready to go off the bat and one that's a free download) and mission (in addition to the dozens that are already in the game) being added to a videogame. There's no difference of scale with the analogies cited above; those examples are very much qualitatively different.
Most of us have already played through ME2 and enjoyed it. Many of us have played through it multiple times. Can you really reasonably argue that it feels like an incomplete game, as compared with most other solid games out there right now? And if you do feel that way, is one extra character and mission (oh, sorry, and gun) added to the game really going to change your mind?
If you can manage to buy a new videogame console and enjoy it for several weeks without a power supply, then I will accept that analogy as reasonable. Likewise if you can clock thousands of miles traveled on a new car that has no windshield or doors. Although, in this case, I would ask why you're even complaining about being charged for those vital parts weeks later, when you apparently haven't been missing them very much all this time.

Don´t cry, "I want everything free"-people. Just buy less Popsicle and you´ll be able to buy the DLC.
But seriously, I already think that the game is bloated with companions. Even if they had one more and decided to cut it, it´s ok. It´s done in games, movies, plays, and etc. Too many characters for the main quest. Especially for those playing for the first time. They just decided that people probably would want it as an extra. And that´s what it is. It´s optional. If you think it´s not worth it, don´t buy. I think it was a story-related decision, and a fair one. And it´s just good as an extra. Come on, a team of 12 (Shep included) isn´t enough? And since they worked on it anyway, it´s only fair to pay if you want the extra.
Grow up, get a job, and buy the extras if you want to.
I have a job, and I make extra money building and repairing PC's.
The point is, I dont like being nickle and dimes by companies for stuff that was in the game and then removed to be sold back to us.
As for this Gamble guy, How can they say that Kasumi was built from the ground up AFTER the game was finished when more then a good chunck of here is already on the game. AS seeable from Youtube when people can already use her. (PC version)
Its clear that she was meant to be IN GAME, as was the Hammerhead. It was confirmed before E3'09 that we would be able to recruit up to 12 different characters..... And they dont talk about dlc when they are hyping the main game, and they were telling us about how the hammerhead was replacing the mako, and yet, the game ships and we only have 10 squadmates, and no hammerhead.
Then magical we get Zaeed free of course, but is only half assed done and has no real value and cant even hold a conversation with him, and were still waiting on the hammerhead.
Now they tell us our 12th squadmate, (which is already on the game disc) is going to cost us to get....
WFT, sorry I know I am not alone on this, but I know I refuse to pay for content that was to be INGAME content to begin with.
I paid for the game once, and if BW wants to stoop to EA's level and strip content to sell to us later, then screw them.
THIS is the reason people pirate games. Because they get tired of companys tring to shaft the cosumers, and we tell em to F off and download it else where for free!
I know I wont be wasting any money on content thats on my disc that they disabled to make even more money off of me.
