Hello, I am wondering do any of you know how to make new clothes for the ladies in DA. Some of the mods I have loved in oblivion and NWN2 feature some G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S (REALLY GORGEOUS!!) outfits!

At the moment we have varieties of the same dress in different colours and the mage dress in different colours. (Which I do use already and enjoy!)

But I wonder if it is possible to make some other designs? Or has this game been made in such a way as to make this type of modding impossible?

I am apologising in advance if this query has already been made and answered!

It's not impossible, it is just an involved process which isn't widely understood.

Are you talking about modeling new clothing in 3d studio max or just texturing existing clothing pieces?

Either way I know how to do all of it, every step. You can pick my brain in PM or here.

Well I am thinking of the making (not sure I would be able myself) of new clothing items or, not the re-texturing of existing ones in DA.  Ahm let me see if I can find some pictures..

(They were in a great mod called the Goddess shop, it sold 100's of dresses and girly stuff!!)
NWN2 had a lot of great modders who made some beautiful clothes packs. Oh I wonder can they be converted to use in DA?

Anyway I absolutely have no idea if it is possible to make things for DA like the modders did for those earlier rpg's. I would PAY to be able to play with clothes like that!

If the original modders will agree to porting the meshes/clothes into DA ... I will do that.

I'm really amazed why we have to keep on redoing the same meshes and textures over and over again, when we can just convert them.

As long as you/anyone can get me permissions, and get me the meshes and textures, I will convert them.

I'm currently doing armors, sort of ... but given time, i'll do some clothes.

Oh thats your amours?? I downloaded them!! They are really pretty and sexy too, the only outfits I have found to be different from the usual colour changed armours and mage dresses!I like the blue one best but the other gold edged one I have is really pretty too! Ahh I am so pleased!! :wizard:

I am going to get busy to get permissions for some of those NWN2 clothes!

Oh I went to see the goddess shop at TESNEXSUS and Apachii gives permission there on that page for her work to be used.

She even does shoes!!! :o:O Leiliana and I love shoes!! Lol!!

I tend to favour the outfits that cover more skin (hehe) but the haram clothes are lovely, as are the laced dresses..then there are the gowns and the boots and the wigs!!

The work is very nice. But it's not all his/hers.

There are too many authors involved.

Can you choose a outfit. Download it, and go through the readme's and get me permission from everyone concerned for that particular mod. Then I can make a start, and see how easy it is. ;p

Well I think the best person to try and contact is Aleana, she is responsible for many of the clothes in the Goddess Store and in the NWN2 packs. I have sent her messages in both forums so I hope she will respond! Her designs are beautiful!



I might try one more person, a guy who made those really beautiful iconic robes, they would look fantastic on our females in DA! He also made some other really gorgeous theif outfits, I love them too!

Yes you are right! These people are probably very busy and possibly not even using those contact addresses any more... but I will keep trying!



Aleana seems still active in the nexus forums in other games so there may be some chance there!
