I recently purchased Dragon Age Origins used.  I didn't know that the codes inside could only be used once.  So, I contacted the seller, and he agreed to refund my purchase so I could buy it new.  But then I got to thinking...if my PS3 were to break down or if I removed Dragon Age Origins at some time in the future but later reinstalled it, would I then have to purchase the downloadable content (such as the Stone Prisoner) or would it be registered as part of my profile?  In other words, am I best off just to go ahead and purchase The Stone Prisoner, or should I send back the used copy and order it new?  And about the weapons and armor upgrades (Blood Dragon Armor, etc), will Bioware be releasing these for purchase at any time in the future?  Thanks in advance for your response.

Not sure what the set up is for the PS3, as I'm on a PC, but for the PC it's tied to the account you use (e-mail address) to register the DLC. That way, no matter how many times you reinstall the game., or no matter how many times you switch to a new computer, you just log in with your account and you can access your DLC. I assume it's the same sort of procedure with the PS3.

I believe that once you download something from the Playstation network it is forever on their archive. I was able to re-download a program I had already paid for and then deleted about a year ago. When I was logged in today to the playstation network it had a download option for all the DLC (shale, dragon armor, wardens keep, etc). From what I gather the code ITSELF is one time use but you can re-download it if need be because you would be the origional user. So get out there and buy the game and get the free DLC goodness.

if u bought the dlc from psn then you could only like reinstal it up to 5 times depending on games but only 5 like if ur ps3 broke u could reinstall on other ps3 but there u used it 1 of 5 unless before ps3 brok from that ps3 u deactivate the account then u have 5 again so technically only limited but then again unlimited so its like becareful if u share with friends then ps3 breaks
