yes, it does about equal damage to all defenses and health, but against synthetics it is slightly more effective obviously. It makes Tali's recruitment mission a breeze, even on insanity.

Yeah, I find it the most useful heavy weapon no matter your class. It has much more use in pretty much every situation but is kinda weak against big stuff like Ymir Mechs and enemies of similar size. I like it and prefer it over the Cain and the other heavy weapons (don't have blackstorm projector).

Does good damage, only gripe is the low ammo capacity. Still prefer the Avalanche as best overall heavy wep.

I used it against the Collector tank (Centurion?) on Horizon and it tore it to pieces compared to the particle beam, Cain, & Blackstorm. Took about a minute and a half, if that.

I think the only enemy that is either immune or takes no damage are the Praetorians (sp?) when I tried using it and it did nothing, maybe because it is airborn and physics state that air is a superb insilator. I think it is my favorite heavy weapon now.

Were you able to actually target the praetorian? You need to have the targeting box (not just the crosshairs) on a target in order for the weapon to hit something.

It sounds to much like GEARS OF WARS EYE OF DAWN.
Why is everyone doing there version of it? RESIDENT EVIL 5 had one too.

Works well against any target, very good against synthetics as mentioned.
In fact, it's so good against Geth it tears Primes a new output socket.
Totally OP on easier modes, wipes entire squads out

It's too powerful, imo. Plus there's already a thread for it stickied in the general discussion section.
