i support this game so i will buy the dlc. if you don't support this game then don't buy the dlc. however, if enough people are butthurt about $15 here or even $30 there for added dlc that could arguably be included in the game then it will be a long lonely 1 1/2 to 2 years until ME3 drops.

so if you support this game then buy the DLC, good or not. the economy isn't that bad you can't cough up $15-$30 bucks for a quality game DLC. if you don't support the game, whine on i'll continue to ignore you.

This is just the way it is guys and gals, just be grateful ME is such an amazing franchise!!!

I'm not going to blindly buy DLC. I'll buy DLC if its good and the price is right, just like any other product.

Example: I will not pay 15 dollars for 2 hours of content.

"if you don't support this game then don't buy the dlc."

An illogical leap.

I supported ME by buying the games.

DLC is extra and optional.

I am not spending 15-30 on DLC, good or not. It had damn better be good for 15-30 bucks.

As much as I support Bioware, even I would have an issue with 15-30 bucks for a DLC that isn't basically a full blown xpack. When you consider that Awakening is more or less 35ish and is going to add about 40-50 hours, any DLC that would claim a 15-30 price is...just ludicrous.

Sorry, DLC are just extra content. Buying the game already is enough to support them. I seen alot of crap DLC, so I tend to wait for the reviews and spoil it already, rather that than wasting money on future crap.

if you want additional content but the content they provide. no illogical.

so far the track record for the game dlc is good too. so i can confidently buy know that it will be quality.

is $15 a lot of money? technically is minimum wage stuff. 7.50 an hour is not a lot :) now if they try to charge 30 for 2 hours thats another story. but again no ME dlc has ever been more than $5.

i think a great example for content at $30 is shivering ilse for oblivion and ballad of gay tony. there was a lot there

I refuse to buy Kasumi. She was supposed to be in the game originally anyway and was stripped out for refinishing and polishing due to time vs. release problems. Fine. They came-up with Cerberus Network and released the other pieces of the game that were missing from the release version... there is no reason why I should pay for Kasumi.

Kasumi easily falls into the category of Cerberus Network content. I WOULD have paid for the Hammerhead though.

not including zaeed and kasumi in game was a way to get customers to buy me2 new and not second hand or pirated and a way to make us feel we get a lot of value.

The example I use is the most recent Terminator video game. It was 5 hours long on its hardest difficulty. It sold for $59.99 - the same price as ME2.

How can such a terrible garbage game like Terminator have the same price as ME2? It is up to the consumer to determine quality. Bioware DLC is still higher quality than most full games that other studios release.

sorry to all other studios, but you're like 10 years behind Bioware :x

When you have proof of this, then you can make it a 100% solid claim. You don't. Stop being misleading. You have no more proof that she was a stripped game element then anyone claiming she was a pre-planned DLC that got some basic files put in before game launch.

Edit: While I disagree with your statements, I do respect and applaud that you will answer with your wallet when all is said and done if you don't like something.

my point is even if they were coded to be in the game i'll still buy kasumi. bioware makes good products i'll gladely support them with my money so they can continue to make more quality products.

try not to be so butthurt about them making us pay for stuff they coded for the game. it's still great. they're just trying to get more money out of us. I have no problem giving them money when they make the best games out there

$15 is way to steep. I would probably pay $10 for something as good as the recruitment + loyalty missions of the main squad. If it isn't better than Zaeeds content, then it's not worth buying at all.

I got this from game spy..

" This will be the first real test of EA's Project $10. It's planted the hook with the free DLC, now it wants to see if it can reel you in with paid content. Just how many people do pay to play could dictate how EA does digital business for the foreseeable future".

What is Project $10?

Ditto that. I think 10 is pushing it as well really. I'd expect an RTO priceline of about 7 bucks.

No it is not logical to say buying the DLC supports the game.

Buying the game supports the game.

Buying the DLC supports the DLC.

All of which supports EA Bioware.

So far none of the DLC has been worth more 5 bucks when compared to other DLC packages Bioware has made in the past. Some of the DLC is rightfully free like the weapons and armor, those wouldn't even be worth using my CC to buy M$ points.

If you want a good example of $15 DLC, look at Shale in DAO. A full set of scaling weapons just for Shale, 3-5 pieces of gear for your character, 2-3hrs of added gameplay w/ personal quest, and complete integration and interaction in the story.

Kasumi is 1 weapons, 1 personal power, 90mins of gameplay and is not completely integrated into the game.

The price needs to fit the amount of content. If BW provides a small amount of content and an unreasonable price, no matter how much I support ME I am not buying.

yeah, Shale is a shining beacon of what squadmate DLC should be.

15,10,7? so a difference of $8 is a deal breaker? I'm really not trying to be a jerk or whatever but is that REALLY a big deal? if you're willing to pay ANY money whatsoever, using 7 as an example what is the problem with paying $15 which for some reason has become the DLC standard?

why are we so tight with money for things that we really care about? i really want to know. It sounds like people really like this game, i mean you're here reading about the game. why are we so stingy with our money for something we support. why to we need to **** about having to pay for stuff. move to canada if you don't want to pay for stuff (last part was a joke) chill chill

Depends how much it is. Chances are I'll pass it over, since I've never seen a DLC I would consider worth the price tag. And that have nothing to do with the actual cost, I don't mind spending £5 here ad there,  it's more a principal/judgement of worth type thing. .. Yeah.

I imagine it has something to do with short, evenly spaced DLCs for that price point. I mean, if they have 6 over 2 years at that price, you've basically bought the game twice, with the DLC needing less time and money, and providing alot less content.

That is pure speculation however.

It comes down to what the DLC is worth. Money can buy happiness, but only in finite amounts. I won't spend 15$ for 2 hours of "fun." To me, it's just not worth it.

it could be argued that you're not just paying for 90 minutes, a weapon, a power but another way to play through the game. i mean i've beaten the game like 10 times now and plan to play it again and having the added depth of another character (with a cloaking ability i might add :) doesn't just add 90 minutes it adds another 25-40 hours because you'll play the game again.

i'm still curious of why $10 is acceptable and $15 is an abomination in the eyes of god

Anyone who truly enjoyed ME2 will buy the DLC regardless. Posting on this forum won't sway anyone in either case whether they will or will not purchase it.

Adding another character does not equal an additional 25-40 hours of gameplay. Yes, it does add more variety but it only adds a bit more content. I wouldn't play the game again just to get another squadmate; I'd play it again if I wanted to experience a different class.

In the end, what the DLC is worth is different in the minds of each player. It's not a clear-cut as "buy it if you support ME."
