Don't blanketsweep.  I truly enjoyed ME2, but I find that I'd rather have a nice dinner with my family than shelling out 15$ for a bit of additional content.

15,10,7? so a difference of $8 is a deal breaker? I'm really not trying to be a jerk or whatever but is that REALLY a big deal? if you're willing to pay ANY money whatsoever, using 7 as an example what is the problem with paying $15 which for some reason has become the DLC standard?

why are we so tight with money for things that we really care about? i really want to know. It sounds like people really like this game, i mean you're here reading about the game. why are we so stingy with our money for something we support. why to we need to **** about having to pay for stuff. move to canada if you don't want to pay for stuff (last part was a joke) chill chill

Look at it this way, $15 is 1/4 of the total amount you paid for the FULL version of the game if you have a 360.  So shouldn't you get another quater game's worth of content for that?

I know that is a very broad statement, but 2 hours of additional play should cost a couple of bucks, not anywhere near 10.  They will charge as much as possible as long as people are willing to pay.

I'll answer the question - while I am an optimistic and content hungry gamer, especially with companies like Bioware, I still also have a sense of "What's a good price" vs "What's a ripoff" - 15 bucks for a DLC that doesn't yield more then 2 hours, 1 weapon, 1 character [who sadly is not even normally conversible on the ship] is pushing what I consider a FAIR price. Plus we already have examples of prior DLCs and content which also creates expectations on price. The Kasumi DLC, atm, sounds alot like both Warden's Keep and RTO, both of which were 5-7 bucks. That is a more then fair price. I think going 10 and higher is starting to hedge on being a bit money hungry for the amount of content delivered.

We aren't ****ing.  We're just voicing our opinions.  Is that so bad?

And again, what something is worth is defined by the individual.  We aren't being cheapskates by not purchasing DLCs.  If we find that it just doesn't appeal to us, WE WON'T BUY IT.  Simple as that.

yeah I don't think Kasumi will be more than 600 bioware/microsoft points. 600 points is ~$7.50, and that is about the right price IMO.

True.

But, What if Return To Ostigar was $10 or $15, would it still be worth the money? After you were done would you feel satisfied or would you think what did i just drop $10 on this for? It always boils down to buyers remorse in
the end, but by then its to late.     Project $10.Posted Image

If you support ME, DON'T buy BAD DLC.

Buying DLC that you judge to be poor in workmanship/value does not support ME. It cheapens and reduces it by rewarding content that is sub-par. If you support ME, buy ME and only buy DLC if you feel its quality and value for price is on par with ME itself.

Nobody cares how you vote or what you think. Everyone cares what you will spend on.

The project in ME would be Cerberus Network not Kasumi.

How does it feel that ME2 was more of a profit testing ground as to what content can or can't be sold for EA?

That's not what you said in your OP. You said "I support this game so i will buy the dlc. if you don't support this game then don't buy the dlc."

I'm not going to set a precedent by blindly buying up DLC just because it's available. If it's worthwhile, then I'll buy it. If BioWare and EA dish up a 1 hour quest that adds nothing to the game experience and people buy it simply based on a premiseof supporting the game, then they will continue to charge through the nose for content that is simply a money spinner. If it's good, then most fans of the game will buy it. It has nothing to do with choosing to support ME or not.

Absolutely pointless topic. Posted Image

No?

Aw but Op made the logic seem so compelling.

Sheep tend to buy things regardless.
My enjoyment level of ME2 has nothing to do with likelihood of buying the associated DLC.
I buy games I think I will like, and I buy DLC based upon if it appears enjoyable and at a sane price.

So I'm a sheep because I enjoy the game and am excited for an additional squadmate that would add variety to my continued experience?

How exactly does your statement differ any from mine?  I think you're confused, fool.

My statement comes from reading comprehension.
Saying "Anyone who truly enjoyed ME2 will buy the DLC regardless."
Is a blanket statement that would lead a person to believe that is a person doesn't buy the DLC then they truly didn't enjoy ME2.

I didn't say sheep will buy this DLC. I said sheep buy things regardless.

It is a case of being able to read and comprehend. Fool, you say? Read more and insult less. Doing that would make for better conversations in threads.

People who claim she wasn't intended in the production are over-looking one thing.

The Normandy SR-2, has one door that cannot be accessed or examined but it's a compartment of the ship that CANNOT be used until, I assume Kasumi pops in.

I already stopped playing the game, can't be assed with the resource mining anymore.

Well call me crazy but I will act as a consumer, I will look at what the DLC has to offer then decide whether it is worth paying for. I work hard for my money and I am not prepared to pay $15 for just 1 or 2 hours of additional gameplay.

If the DLC has a significant number of missions, allows interaction with the new team mate and adds something to the overall feel of the game then I will consider it. But I am not going to go in blindly and just buy something because bioware made it. That is not the way to behave in this day and age. If we want companies to produce the goods and services WE WANT then we need to demonstrate what we want financially and that doesn't mean "buy everything they make regardless".

Touche but your use of the word sheep was only meant to antagonize.  I've seen your other posts on in other threads.  Your intent is only to spur arguments and impose your egotistical attitude upon others.

Listen, I wouldn't even think about not buying it if it was to be as well integrated as Shale in DA:O.
But the one thing that really annoys me is the fact that this new DLC character will not be fully integrated in the game. It is really sad to say that this character will simply be a speaking decoration on the ship, no interaction whatsoever.

While I really like the character of Zaeed, it does not appeal to me much since you cannot speak or interact at all with it.

This would be the reason why I consider NOT buying this DLC. I'm afraid I don't really feel the need to have one more non-interactive character.
