I'm not going to blindly buy DLC. I'll buy DLC if its good and the price is right, just like any other product.

Touche but your use of the word sheep was only meant to antagonize.  I've seen your other posts on in other threads.  Your intent is only to spur arguments and impose your egotistical attitude upon others.

My use of the word sheep once clearly was more goading than the OPs constant labeling of people as whiny cheapscapes for not wanting to buy every bit of DLC that is released for ME.

If you read my posts and read the posts I am responding to; my tone tends to be a direct reflection of the insulting nature of the person I am commenting.

As long as they release it on the Cerberus Network then it'll be free. So in that case I'll support all the DLC they release.

Just like Jalem wrote, if the DLC is of good quality, then yeah, I'll buy it. But if it's free, I'll also download it(talking about DLC beyond Kasumi)

so if you support this game then buy the DLC, good or not. the economy isn't that bad you can't cough up $15-$30 bucks for a quality game DLC. if you don't support the game, whine on i'll continue to ignore you.

You're really smart...

I'm gonna use a generalization like you did. You assume people who don't buy the DLC are; Cheapskates, whiners, don't support the game.

I make the assumption that you use credit cards to spend more than you are paid and therefore don't understand the value of money, and feel totally justified to tell other people how to spend theirs.

I'm probably going to buy it, not because I'm all YA SUPPORT BIOWARE DOODZ, but because I imagine I'll replay it enough times that it'll end up being worth it. It sounds like a cool mission, and it bestows you with a new submachine gun, which, if it's good, will end up being used in the majority of my playthroughs anyway.

Im not goin to spend money on somethin that was suppose to be in the game already. if theyre wanting to start paid dlc then they should reverse the hammerhead pack with kasumi. i rather pay for something new than some extra squadmate that i wouldnt use since i hav enough trouble trying to decide which squadmate to use.

If there's a decent amount of content there then I'll buy it.

I also don't understand people saying that $10 is a waste for 90 minutes of gameplay- going to see a 90 minute movie in the theater costs just as much, and you have no option to re-watch it infinitely like you do with DLC.

Just one question: Will someone please explain to me how this new DLC gets rid of Zaeed?

Like, how is that possible? Does it work like, to use computer science terms, a queue? You add Kasumi from here and Zaeed is out from there? Can't we have both?

I'm not paying 15 dollars for 1 or 2 hours of gameplay,I doubt it will cost that much though.

I'm pretty sure the ME wiki had a screen with all of the companions.

Yeah, here.

Only problem is it doesn't specify a source, so I'm unsure of the validity.

^ Thanks. But what I'm asking is, is it true that adding Kasumi will somehow remove Zaeed? Because that's what everyone appears to be saying.

I agree with this guy.  I supported Mass Effect 2 by buying the game.  I don't need to support by buying DLC that's $15 to $30.  DLC is optional.  I don't need to buy DLC to support it.

I doubt it. If Bioware had this planned out ahead, they should have a basic framework that allows them to add new companion code in the game without too much problems. I haven't done much DA modding yet, though it looks like Bioware typically makes modular code that they can add on to easily. The only way it'd make much sense if she replaced Zaeed is if someone gave her the same refs as Zaeed, and that's something that should be ironed out after five minutes of beta testing. Can't think of much else other than serious coding problems with the follower code base.

hey riddick,

in the collectors edition of ME2 there is final concept art for the hammerhead in that book. so that was to be included as well. all the dlc "could" have been included in the game. they are just trying to make money. like i've been saying the whole post, i'll gladly give them mine

5 Dollars is pushing it. The main game is 1 dollar per 1 hour. 5 dollar Kasumi DLC is more like $2.50 per hour.

Some of us won't pay $10 for a movie either.  Especially the schlock that comes out of Hollywood nowadays.

i support this game so i will buy the dlc. if you don't support this game then don't buy the dlc. however, if enough people are butthurt about $15 here or even $30 there for added dlc that could arguably be included in the game then it will be a long lonely 1 1/2 to 2 years until ME3 drops.

so if you support this game then buy the DLC, good or not. the economy isn't that bad you can't cough up $15-$30 bucks for a quality game DLC. if you don't support the game, whine on i'll continue to ignore you.

This is just the way it is guys and gals, just be grateful ME is such an amazing franchise!!!

How about

If the DLC doesnt deliver the quality and content you looking for, dont buy the DLC!

I know 15 year olds like the OP  like to throw their parents money around but DLC is a reletively new concept and if the consumers dont send a message early on that they expect quality and size from these DLCs, companies going to walk all over you, the consumer.

In the Dragon Age: Origin forums you already have a Bioware rep saying its fine for them to put out 40 minute DLC for $5-$15 because people are buying that so they see no reason to deliver more quality and content then currently being offered up.

To me, thats a ****** poor attitude.

The simple answer to DLC is, if the DLC offers you what you want, then purchase it. If it doesnt, then dont. And DONT be fooled by single minded children into thinking either is a statement of support for Mass Effect.

Want to support Mass Effect, BUY THE GAME, REGISTER THE GAME HERE (to prove you paid for your version), and then post your thoughts here for Bioware to read them. NOTHING else is required from you to support the game.

Personally, I have no interest in a new upgraded Mako so skipping the upcoming DLC. Bioware comes out with new squad missions of sufficiant size and length that dont involve driving around in some off roader or they patch the game to increase character conversations and better Love scenes, Id buy that DLC.

Supply and demand and dont let any children fool you into thinking your purchases go beyond that.

I have paid for a collector's edition, they most likely won't get more money from me. Now, if I enjoyed ME2 the same way I enjoyed ME1 I probably wouldn't even hesitate to pay for a DLC pack. I think I'll just go "streamline" my wallet elsewhere.
