Let me be as blunt as I can possibly be: if BioWare releases it I'll buy it. THE END.

Anyone who does not is a traitor to every quality appreciating gamer out there.

I have paid for a collector's edition, they most likely won't get more money from me. Now, if I enjoyed ME2 the same way I enjoyed ME1 I probably wouldn't even hesitate to pay for a DLC pack. I think I'll just go "streamline" my wallet elsewhere.

I agree about enjoying ME1 more but you know what, If Bioware came out and said "Bring Down the Sky" DLC is what we can expect regarding size and story and complexity for $5.00, id still buy ME2 DLC because I would know im getting my moneys worth.

Children can yammer about how much is $5.00 really  and loyalty to product all they want (They not really suppose to be playing game anyways). But if I spend $5.00 6 times and allI get is 4 hours content for my $30.00, well suddenly that is a large amount and I would feel ripped off and betrayed.

I just read that Kasumi will not have ANY conversations and will be like Zhaeed were you click on 3 items, get 3 stories and thats it (plus a short loyalty quest).
Thats a FREAKING INSULT at $15.00. Is that even 1 hour of content? I know Zhaeed wasnt 1 hour of content all told and Kasumi being compared to him.

Personally, after learning this, im going to laugh my arse off at anyone that buys the Kasumi DLC. What a rip off!

For $15.00 you should be getting 15 hours of NEW content all told. That means conversations, missions, everything. Just having a new character to fight for you is NOT NEW CONTENT

I support Bioware and love ME2 but like others have said I wont blindly buy dlc for a said price unless I know its worth it. that $5 or $10 or $15 they may ask for better be worth the money because I could easily use the money for I don't know things like food from the dollar store that I'm stuck shopping at. Anyway I will happily save up to buy dlc if its worth it and will bring even more enjoyable time with the game

My general logic is that I'll just get one less medium Baconator combo this month, and that my arteries will thank me for buying the dlc.

she isn't going to talk BAH I love zaeed as a character IDEA and he looks BA in my opinion but his bs not having conversation's really annoyed me and I always thought to myself "how lazy, oh well he was free"

According to the IGN article there won't be any dialog options past the missions she is involved in. That means I won't be buying it, unless it is very cheap.

Before i buy a DLC i always read the reviews from various gamesite's like TeamXBox, IGN and others. If the reviews are good and state that the DLC is worth his price, i buy it, regardless how many it costs.

In fact people who bought the game already supported the developers, Kasumi is/whas part of the game and they didn't add it (like zaeeed whas). Kasumi should be given away for free and all other DLC's that will come after that should ask for a little payment.

So far the DLC has sucked (like the game itself in many ways), so unless they release an expansion with a good plot and an involvement of key characters, Im probably not going to buy/download anymore.

I imagine it has something to do with short, evenly spaced DLCs for that price point. I mean, if they have 6 over 2 years at that price, you've basically bought the game twice, with the DLC needing less time and money, and providing alot less content.

That is pure speculation however.

Completely incorrect.

Project 10 Dollar is an initiative against the used game market.  All games (starting with DA:O) are having a system of DLC implemented where buying new will get you DLC that you don't have to pay for, as a reward for buying new.  Anybody who buys used would have to spend 15 dollars for that DLC (ie Cerberus Network, Stone Prisoner).

Regular DLC is going to be normally priced, so people worried about Kasumi being 15-30 dollars should stop worrying because nobody would buy DLC at that price (that's the price of an expansion pack with level cap increase and 10 hour campaign).

Unless the game is old, out of production, and simply not available new, I always buy new (unopened/unused) games. There are just too many gotchas in the used game market.

i support this game so i will buy the dlc. if you don't support this game then don't buy the dlc. however, if enough people are butthurt about $15 here or even $30 there for added dlc that could arguably be included in the game then it will be a long lonely 1 1/2 to 2 years until ME3 drops.

so if you support this game then buy the DLC, good or not. the economy isn't that bad you can't cough up $15-$30 bucks for a quality game DLC. if you don't support the game, whine on i'll continue to ignore you.

This is just the way it is guys and gals, just be grateful ME is such an amazing franchise!!!

I remember when you didn't need to buy a Collector's Edition to receive a nicely packaged game with a tasteful manual, world map and concept art.

One character plus maybe a couple of missions, surely for less than 800 MSP. No matter how much I love ME, the cost must be justifiable by me to purchase it. I do have 200 free MSP from LG promo waiting to be spent though, even though the N7 avatar shirt is tempting. I'm like the Normandy with it's stealth systems. Watching and waiting for the perfect time to make my move.

Any premium ME2 DLC is bound to go on sale for gold members at some point anyway. Are people prepared to wait unti near the release of ME3 though?

I do too, but back then you couldn't buy and download a game like DA or ME either.

I also bought the delux edition and so far have all the DLC that's available including the two new ones that became available after ME2 was released. In case it matters, I'm playing on a PC.

NO.

That's just ignorant to buy something just because.

I'll buy it if it's decently priced 5-7 bucks for an 1-2 hours content.  It's an interesting mission - not just *pew* *pew* some pirates or a la Pinnacle Station.  Give me something on par with BdtS and I'll buy it.  Give me something like Pinnacle and I'll pass.

If a developer wants support they need to produced quality products just like any other company.  There are a lot of options out there for my entertainment money and I don't have blind allegiance to any corporation.  If I don't buy a dlc from BW it has nothing to do with the economy because I have a full time job.  It has to do with where my interests in entertainment is at the time.  5-7 bucks for a PPV movie or some dlc.  Depends on what I'll enjoy more not what you think.

I've supported BW for years by purchasing their games and XP.  Just because I skip a dlc here and there doesn't make me a hater or nonsupportive.

If the product is good I'll buy it.  If it is not I won't.  SImple.  Use your head and don't blindly follow.  Make your own decisions.

Your post suffers from illogical tunnel vision.  Stop dictating to others what you think is right.

I am not pledging to be a fan of BioWare when I say I enjoy their games immensely, but all their DLC's dissappointed me beyond believe.

If the free DLC was meant to persuade us to buy Kasumi, no, I am not in the mood for another squadmate that will add another yawn-dropping 1 or two hours. Give me a full expansion pack and I will buy it, for now, I demand it's free no matter what work, it's Cerberus Network you know, I want whats promised to me.

An incentive to buy it legally and get content for free. - Squee. -

for starters whining will get you no where and 2ndly i think bioware is really making up for the lack of dlc from me1 so at least give them some graditude for that. i think alot of people complained about specific things in the first game to where bioware maybe listened to the fans and now fans are complaining more for how me2 came about. its not biowares fault that they didnt satisfy everyones needs but seriously alot of the cry babys need to shut up

BioWare's games and expansions are top quality, and i'm looking forward to each of them. Their DLC so far however has sucked in the price/content ratio, and this seems to continue that trend.

I have, however, pre-ordered Awakening an am looking forward to some more Dragon Age, though Return to Ostagar is again a no-buy due to the IMO unacceptable price/content ratio. Hopefully ME2 gets a proper sized (and priced) expansion too.

Fallout 3 DLC is the one i'm seeing as a good price/content ratio, even the smallest (and first) one, Operation Anchorage, provided enough gameplay and items (even though including only two qenuinly new items) to justify it's 10 $ pricetag, not to mention Point Lookout, that has large area with sidequests and few new enemies and weapons. Pitt is still my favourite, perforator, auto-axe and metal blaster and horde of troggs to use them on in that great steelyard level, not to mention morally gray main quest, i'm never happy with it's outcome.

Not whining, feedback ;)

Sorry, I am a whiner for expressing what I think? It's my opinion and no where am I blaming BioWare, I love their games and will support them so long EA won't **** over it like it done many times.

But I am god honest when I say I didn't enjoyed the DLC, the DLC business is worrying me and I am happily looking forward for the Hammehead.

But the rest of the ME2 DLC, they are dissapointing and I finished the game without all the armour and weapons. If I have Cerberus Network, I want this **** for free, as EA's Project Ten Dollar is already ruining the Used Trade Market.

But I love BioWare, I love their games, but their DLC sucks. Don't judge me, it's my opinion.

Have a fun day, idiotic douchebag.

I remember when a game had to prove it was good before it could put out a Collector's Edition.  Now haven't played ME2 yet, and I'm sure I'll enjoy it, but a Collector's Edition used to be something special put out after a game had reached a certain level of success in sales and critical acclaim, not something that came out on release day.
