I totally agree, I think if you are going to make DLC you should at least strive to offer something new and fresh to the game, somthing that would make you want to come back to the game just to experience the new DLC. Offering somthing that is quite similar to what is already in the game but is of inferior quality just wont cut it as DLC.

I would be perfectly willing to pay for something substantial, but this is a one hour of content + another character with no interactive dialogue. Just like Zaeed, which was free.



And we know she was planned to be in the original game what with the voice files and models already in there, so I can't shake the feeling that I'm paying for something that basically fills the Cerberus Network criteria (i.e relatively small upgrades).



Give me an expansion or a sub-story arc and I'd pay for that any day, but this just feels like regular EA cheapening.

If Kasumi is like Zaeed (i.e., no actual dialogue after recruitment/loyalty mission), then the most I would be willing to pay would be between 3-5 dollars. However, if she is more like a regular character (i.e., actual dialogue after her recruitment/loyalty mission, more character interactions, and a possible romantic interest), then I might be willing to pay a little more.

Thats still (based on DA:O DLC download numbers) over $1,000,000+ income and I guarentee you a new character with no cutscreens and no conversations did not cost even $100,000 to program into game.

You all crazy to fill Bioware/EA pockets paying $5-$15 for this DLC.
If you dont take a stand now and say you expect reasonable return for your money, they just going to keep on screwing you content wise.

Would you really pay $175.00 to $525.00 for 35hours of Mass Effect 2? Cause thats what you giving EA/Bioware at $5.00 to $15.00 for 1 hour (or less) of the Kasumi DLC!

Just something to think about!

I'd prefer to pay 240MS points for it but would be willing to go to 320MS points....anything more would have to be reliant on the reviews I get for it from people who bought it.

I'm going to take the high road here and try and be optimistic, rather than the majority of jaded people on the forums. Until there is an announcement putting a price tag on the Kasumi DLC. I'm going to view the remark about internal discussion on price to be for people that dont have the Cerberus Network.

If we're all forced to pay for the DLC  then  $5 to $7 Max probably.

Seeing as Zaeed is downright Beast as far as party members go, if Kasumi is "another Zaeed" everyone would stand to profit from picking her up.

Well the game from the start was designed with the "Dirty Dozen"  theme in mind.    Kasumi would make the dozen complete.

What I would pay and what's reasonable is two different things. I'd probably pay up to 20-25$ if it's decent content. Think it's reasonable thought to assume that it will be free for everyone with Cerberus Network access.

It should be free, though. Not only because this DLC was already planned (or cut out if I were to believe some) but it also only adds about 30-45 mins of gameplay, which is probably less than (or maybe equal to) the free Hammerhead/Firewalker pack.

Since I do not have a credit card and I am not able to pay with my bank card.. I don't think I will purchase it. I possess the Cerberus Network. It should be free for us Cerberus Network possessors.

Atleast Kasumi comes with a bar to make drinks at?? Zaeed came with a trash compactor in the back of the room to shoot off debris into space.

It's not just one hour of game play, it's also a new character you can take with you on any mission and hear her comments just like you can hear Zaeed's comments during the game. It's also a new SMG. But yeah, it's not much. I'll probably be playing through Kasumi's loyalty mission at least 3 times with different classes, so I'd be willing to pay 5 bucks. 10 bucks, nah.

For under 60 minutes of game-time, there is no question in my mind that it should be free. I certainly would not be willing to invest any more of my cash into this game, for such a neglible return.
