For all those not planning on buying the DLC...

This is a website for Bioware fans and if you can't even show respect and appreciation for the hard work and creativity that the geniuses at Bioware invest in their game by paying for it then you're not welcome here!
Mass Effect 2 provides far more entertainment than just about any other game even without DLC. Kasumi will be worth 30 dollars at least and the fact that EA/Bioware will probably charge less than that just shows how charitable they are to their fans.
Go back to playing your crappy music games like Rock Band and melodramatic, corny, crap JRPGs like FFXIII.

I didn't know that someone is automatically a BW hater for not purchasing DLC.

NEWSFLASH! This is a BUSINESS that runs on certain resources, namely money!
They've already been more than generous enough giving us free content like the Firewalker pack. Stop being so damn greedy!

Let's have a calm and reasoned debate of the subject.
Bioware is allowed to charge for the DLC, that is their progative. We the customer, are allowed to chose whether the DLC represents value for money, and in turn whether we buy it or not.
You are right that we shouldn't demand that everything should be given away for free. Conversely, if we don't think an offer is a good proposition, we can attempt to bargin, but it's up to Bioware whether they are willing to alter the cost/benefit ratio.
If we buy something and feel we were mislead after the fact, we have the right to complain.

And by the way, nice work assuming that "Kasumi will be worth 30 dollars at least." An additional character and 2 more hours of gameplay would never be worth 30 dollars.

Are you a troll? People have their personal choices and opinions, I for one, won't buy them I already stopped playing the game, waiting for the HammerHead.
Didn't even bothered to download the Arc Projector, another weapon I won't be using. Plenty of games to munch on, I am not waiting for another squadmate.

No kidding people have their own personal choices to make.
You can choose to either be a Bioware fan, or not be a Bioware fan. You can't have it both ways and say
"Oh, I like Bioware but their content isn't worth my money."
No, it doesn't work that way.

$30 for two hours of content is beyond overpriced.

The fact that you think that proves that you're not a true Bioware fan. The gameplay may last 2 hours but the memories last for a lifetime.

Seriously, I love BioWare but I think the DLC is inferior. The only DLC that was kick-ass = Shale + Zaeed..That's about it.
I'd PAY for that, I mean literally, PAY for that. Hammerhead is beyond discussion, can't use it yet.
I am not a rich person so I rather rationalize than becoming a fan, what you describe as a mindless husk humping BW's leg. Which most fans are not.

You're right. I should blindly throw money at a developer so that I can be an elistist ****** and call myself a "true fan." You ever think that maybe constructive criticism is what made Bioware great in the first place? A real fan doesn't just accept things as they are, they provide feedback for the developers by either buying or not buying new content, depending on it's quality.
Your glibness does you no good. Constructive criticism is fine but Bioware is still a business that relies on it's fans to buy it's products so it can remain lucrative enough to keep financing future projects.
If you won't give your money to Bioware, what good are you?
