Why?  I highly doubt most slaves were abused anywhere near as horribly as they were in some movies. uh...realtively good would be stretching it I think. Decent would probably be a better way of saying it. good implies that someone should want to be treated that way. To me anyways.

then again the fact that even the kinder slave owners had a habit of breaking apart families to make a profit selling slaves don't overly endear me to the practice. You might get a handfull out of the thousands that didn't but...*shakes head* horrible horrible practice.

This is true. The vast majority of slaves were treated much better than how it's described in movies, according to historical records, and most slave trade were blacks trading blacks, primarily in Africa itself.

We're getting somewhat off-topic, though; How should we deal with the gay scourge?

So you don't have to deal with people who be trollin. Its more of a human nature thing. Get in a group with a bunch of likeminded people and keep those who don't share your views out of it so you can be left in relative peace.

Also I would suppose it would be to show force in numbers as to boster one's presence in the forums.

But that's just me.
