Uh...I'm just going to pop in here real quick. what sensible argument? The one that it makes them uncomfortable? I was uncomfortable by Miranda's ass and manner of dress does that mean they should change her to suit my tastes? Of course not. I'm sure some players were made uncomfortable by the whole genophage and Jacob's loyalty quest. Does that mean that too should be taken out?

It making you uncomfortable is not a valid reason for it being left out.

Honestly, how about if I started a group that wanted to ban Christian references from Mass Effect 3 as I find Ashley talking to me about God offensive and disturbing?  Should that be allowed?

On the flip side, we can't knock them for being a wholesome, hetero-lovin' community. So there's no win.

It would be fine if they were just hetero-lovin' but they are gay-hatin.  I love heterosexuals!  But I also love homosexuals, bisexuals, transexuals, pansexuals. 

Waffles are good.

Working for Cerberus made me uncomfortable.  Unfortunately this was part of the whole damn game!!  I understand and accept why this is there though.

There are no clear, sensible reasons for it.  I'm sorry.  The rules are clear - what you are doing by asking for a ban on same-sex relationships in the game is discriminating based on lifestyle choice.  It would be no different if I were to ask for no Christian references, if someone else were to ask for no strong female roles, or if David Duke demanded there be no black characters.

Discrimination IS discrimination.  I'm sorry if a guy hitting on you makes you uncomfortable - I'm sure many straight women feel the same way (about a guy hitting on them.)  That has nothing to do with the game.

If Bioware's writers decide to not write any same sex content for whatever reason, that's their right as writers of the game.  In a fairly linear story maybe they don't want to dive into same-sex relationship issues in this game and just avoid it all together so we don't get even more stupid threads like this.

You do not have the right to demand that a certain segment of people be exclusively eliminated from being in a game - THAT is discrimination.  No matter your reasoning.

Justify it all you want - based on religious beliefs, or squishy uncomfortable phobias you have about a member of your gender checking out your butt - you are violating the rules of the site.

Yeah i really didn't care about a same sex option for ME3 but now i hope they do. Just because bigots make me sick. Its stupid to not want M/M, but F/F is ok, If you are going to be a homophobe do it right. It looks like the only option is to just take sex out all together, its better to just disappoint everyone than some people. And colossus is a terrible disgusting person for kicking out a gay couple that lived next to him. You will get yours, I'm sure. I wont answer violence with violence though.

Not wanting it because you think the resources can go somewhere else? Fine. But going: "OH NOES it makes me uncomfortable and gays are icky and disgusting!" is trolliing.
