I wonder what would happen if I put a group called the **** Group, or the Aryan Nation Group? It would be banned right away, and rightfully so... why is this not any different? This just promotes hate towards homosexuals, people who cannot help who they are. This is infuriating that this would be allowed to even exist

Are you sure about that? BioWare is usually pretty good about letting us say what we want, so long as we can keep it civil. And the thing about free speech is: if you want to have it, you have to let that person you hate have it too.

Your just jealous space marines gets all the girls...  Chaos Rising (DoW2 expansion) is great so far.

I actually like both, but prefer the Guardies due to them being more... human. Not in a species sense, from a psychological point of view. They're the Imperium's cannon fodder, they know it, but they keep fighting on.

Are you sure about that? BioWare is usually pretty good about letting us say what we want, so long as we can keep it civil. And the thing about free speech is: if you want to have it, you have to let that person you hate have it too.

Yup the other good thing is that I can laugh at their opinions all day.

Only problem is when they start influencing laws that wouldn't affect them at all and only those they are against. That personally pisses me off. <_<

I have to agree, spamming or ridiculing this thread makes us look as bad as the op (or actualy worse). The thread is a desaster as it is and was destinated to be from the very minute it was opened but that is no reason for us to misbehave. Polite and reasonable answers may not be able to sway the op and members of his group but atleast a random passerby would not believe to have entered a mental asylum.

The thing is, CShep, you're making a perfectly fair point about the way relationships in general work in ME2. The problem I have is that you seem far more uncomfortable with an accidental homosexual relationship than an accidental heterosexual one. But Jack's attachment to me DID make me feel uncomfortable. I don't personally find her attractive, and her personality is very bad girl with a heart cookie cutter to me. The fact she jumped into my arms sobbing was quite awkward since I had no intention of getting to that stage with her. And as for dragging my personal beliefs into this, I support gay romances in my TV shows (some of the gay romances in Torchwood were done to perfection), and I do have friends within the LGBT community. I have been invited to a few LGBT parties in my time. In one case, I was getting hit on by a member of the same sex. It was just as uncomfortable for me as times I've been hit on by a member of the opposite sex that I'm not particularly interested in. But that didn't make me avoid him. In fact, he turned out to be a cool guy. So if you're looking for points against my character, it's not a case of bias at all.

I really think the mods need to shut down intolerant threads like this. These people are the types who believe that everyone else but them are going to a mythical place called hell.
