Personally, I think racists and homophobes are subhumans who are holding our civilization back from reaching its potential. Unfortunately there's no ethically sound way to remove them from the gene pool. That's my opinion.

I find it sad that the hate actually has nothing to do with who we are as people, most of us are decent and friendly folk, ultimately it comes down to what we do behind the privacy of closed doors. Little invasive no?

Same thing applies for heterosexuality in a different way you realize? If everyone keeps having kids we won't be able to sustain our population. 

There's a reason for balance.

Too much of most things can destroy a civilization, too little as well.
