But that's the whole point I was making. Without the biased language. Respect that they have an opinion that differs from yours and have the courtesy to leave them be with their opinion. I have no beef with atheists, but when they persist in enforcing their beliefs on me without provocation, it riles me up. I don't go around spreading the word of God; I don't apply the bible to everyday life, I don't go to mass, I keep my religion private, and I'm perfectly fine with the idea that others don't believe. I don't even think less of them as you appear to do with creationists. Of course, you have the right to think less of me if you wish. It's just not nice if you decided to go out of your way to question my faith as it wouldn't be nice if I threw passages from the bible at you. Common courtesy.

Well believing in nothing is still a belief. And enforced athethism is from a social standpoint. I know some atheists, and some of them do make it a point to 'convert' me to atheism. Something I see time and again. I'd like to get through the day without being targeted because of my faith, or seen as an idiot because I don't think the same as they do.

Atheists can be pretty obnoxious though. My belief is that everyone believes in something or wants to believe in something, thus rendering the whole atheism issue sort of moot. Me, I'm agnostic. I'm open to the concept of a higher being, there just hasn't been an explanation I'm really content with.
