After playing through twice now. I was relatively shocked to see that my dual wielding warrior ended up doing almost as much damage as my blood mage did on the previous playthrough. Right now my warrior accounts for about 58% of my party's damage. I think the mage peaked at about 63-65%. What class are you guys playing as and what % of the damage did you do?
How much damage does your PC do?

Duel weilding warriors are suprising effect. They do a lot of damage by pure speed. The exact oppisite of 2h which uses few but massively powerful blows. I like how all the weapon trees have their uses. Makes playing fighter more fun than in BG2 since talents give warriors something too do beside hack away.

I'm level 12 now and do pretty much the highest damage on one swing in my party. I do somehwere around 45-55 damage per swing.

Rogues aren't supposed to be dealing high damages just by mindlessly swinging, you need to use traps, poisons and back stabbing.

Yea I was kind of wondering about playing an assassin next. I was curious to see their damage output. I love the idea of setting traps and such before a fight. It cant be TOO low because I put zevran in my party and he does alright, even if I have to hold his hand a bit.

It's not even that.. while it does add to it.. all classes can use that. What it -is- about is +Critical/Backstab damage gear. When you start getting some of that gear and some better talents with a rogue in particular the damage goes up greatly.
For warrior dual wielders it's not quite that easy as they don't auto-crit (backstabs for rogue's) but if you have a mage with the Death Hex (100% Critical) you can expect tons.. upon tons.. upon tons of damage.
I might also note that in my opinion 2 Handed is very lacking. It's so utterly slow that 1-2 misses can easily doom a fight. It's fun seeing 'big numbers' but their current survivability + the god awful slow hits isn't balanced unfortunately (and only in my opinion
I think what it comes down to is the Str. modifier on 2 handers.. needs to be modded to be more.

Level 19 Warrior, does 89% of party damage, I hit around 60-70 on darkspawns with my enchanted blade. Highest damage I've done was a 137 hit with Final Blow.

My guy, a tank, does moderate damage. About 46%. But that's good enough for a tank.

I think my shield + Axe warrior was doing 60% of the total party damage on my play through.

Spell Might + Mana Clash is the biggest single damage I've done on my Mage/Arcane Warrior. 600-something. Situational for sure but I haven't seen another single attack that compares.
Otherwise Im at 56% total damage. My favorite tactic is me gathering up foes and casting Mind Blast and Earthquake while Morrigan casts Blizzard and the final Lightning attack. So Morrigan does a lot of damage too.
