Its called Microsoft having exclusive rights. Just like Uncharted 1 and 2 are PS3 products

BioWare violated this rule with RTO. It only had about 30 minutes gameplay. That is why I did not buy it.
I plan to follow the same rule here. I am going to learn how long the gameplay is from the reviewers online before purchasing.

$5 per 1 hour of solid gameplay (e..g. an optimal run through). That is rule of thumb that many other companies have followed for a long time. It makes game DLC roughly equivalent to a movie ticket.
It's funny you should say that. Although many companies have made a practice of such rip-off pricing for a while; the people that arguable inveted successful DLC, Bioware with NWN, used to have a much more reasonable $2 or less per hour rate.
Personally, I haven't purchased DLC since.

Paying is the way forward,As in real life if it sucks and fails nobody buys it so bioware will try harder to please,if people buy it and its crap there will be uproar...But its gonna be awesome, bioware has never let people down with their quality so its all good for a small fee,why not??

(But the latter may be the sad truth for too many fanboys (and -girls) all around the world.)

There's a problem that for every 2 fanboy who will blindly post awesome, good job, or yay, that someone will complain before either piece of DLC will not be worth it.
Rumors about short mission time, useless character stats, and dialogue similar to Zaeed, Kasumi is not looking too good. I'm looking forward to the 360 release of the Incisor Rifle that was announced in the last week.

The only type of DLC I'm ok paying for, are expansions that brings more than 5 hours of gameplay.
So for Kasumi... zero, nada, rien.

Having said that, I do NOT want any of their marketing people to say - hey $7 for Kasumi and it wasn't that much content, we can just keep cranking this out... It was extremely underwhelming and do not think it was priced correctly for what we received.
For a paid character, I expect dialogue options on the ship that reveal her backstory. Perhaps some playful 'banter' or side-comments when walking around (amongst the party members).
To me, the new SMG and the tech upgrade wasn't anything extra as I was already able to beat the game without them.
