And it's a good analogy. The two opinions come from the same place of ignorance, yet this thread seems more outrageous to some people than the anti-gay thread.

In a few years the anti-gay crowd will look as backwards and idiotic as the racist crowd does now. This is how it has worked throughout history.

Truth. Kind of like denying women the right to vote. These kinds of things always go through history.

And its just as ridculous yet I love the double standards of some of the posters. If your anti minority Your mad and a racist, anti gay? You're just a regular joe and that's your right.

This is not a troll, but rather a poor satire. The OP is attempting to parody the anti gay-romance thread and corresponding group.

What he fails to realise is that almost everyone accepts the minorities. However, when it comes to Man on Man action, the nausea is only suppressed by forced tolerance.

ur kidding right? no one accepts minorities. those poor sobs can't even tell theyre not wanted all 1 has to do is look at the rates of imprisonment of their kind in the us to see that. 12% of the population but nearly 48% of the prision population. people are so scared of actually being racist openly the force themselves to falsely tolerate it but the truth rears its ugly head. no one truly respects or cares about minorities other than the minorities themselves and frankly instead of pretending that we do i don't want them in the game. theey don't belong there. by the time period mass effect is set in they should have all be bred out.

the whole minorities getting equal rights is just politcally correct nonsense shoved down peoples throats.

Given that, according to current census figures, both the United States and Canada will have 'white people' as the 'visible minorities' by 2030... if we project that trend forward to Mass Effect's timeline (given that there are currently 1.4 billion people of Southeast Asian extraction, over a billion Chinese)... well, a 'white' Shepard is going to BE a visible minority.  Aka the 'token white guy' in a world where everyone else is brown, yellow, or black.

In that case, I'm perfectly fine with banning visible minorities from Mass Effect 3 - people like Udina and Anderson (who don't look white) will be the 'average human' with people like Corporal Ashley Williams and the Illusive Man be the real visible minorities. Get rid of TIM and Miranda, and I won't care.

Seriously, enough with the we need more minorities/we need less minorities in ME topics. The level of minorities we have in ME1 and ME2 are fine, keep it the same for ME3.

your stats seem to be old, or incorrect because according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) African Americans only make up 38% of the total prison population, the 12% is close enough now at 14%.  However It seems you are ignoring alot of socilogical reasons to why they are in prison.  Im not going into it, its not worth it and takes to much time. 

But keep in mind african americans in the usa historically have been labled as criminals, ignorant, lazy, slave, and essentially were bread into slavery, and ignorance by the white culture.  I think they have come pretty far, and although more can be achieved, no more than 50 years ago one generation, they were fighting for basic rights. 

Im not going into all the history its there, just go to a liabrary and do a little research in how our country came to be, and at  what expense, it is painful at times.
