your stats seem to be old, or incorrect because according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) African Americans only make up 38% of the total prison population, the 12% is close enough now at 14%.  However It seems you are ignoring alot of socilogical reasons to why they are in prison.  Im not going into it, its not worth it and takes to much time. 

But keep in mind african americans in the usa historically have been labled as criminals, ignorant, lazy, slave, and essentially were bread into slavery, and ignorance by the white culture.  I think they have come pretty far, and although more can be achieved, no more than 50 years ago one generation, they were fighting for basic rights. 

Im not going into all the history its there, just go to a liabrary and do a little research in how our country came to be, and at  what expense, it is painful at times.

aren't African Americans dominant in sports and athletics, they are naturally taller than Caucasians, hell they beat the Germans at their own Olympics.

using inferior is pretty vague.

furthermore you totally ignored all the history behind african americans and their relationship to whites.  you just assume that they are in prison because of inferiority.

This is simply too deep of a subject to debate on a bioware forum. simply easier to agree to disagree.  Good luck with your ideas.

As a matter of fact he's not even right about "minorities" being bred out in the future. There was an article I was reading yesterday discussing the upcoming census in America and the fact that it is not minorities, but White Anglo-Saxons who are marrying later, having less children, and having those children later. In other words, in the future, if things continue, Whites will almost certainly be the "bred out minority", while those of Hispanic origin will be the clear majority and Blacks, Asians and others will be more or less where they are right now, which is in the middle.

I'm actually surprised this needs to be related, since the point of the spear so to speak of the supremacist argument is predicated on acknowledgment of exactly that eventuality. Since most everyone knows this, I have to vote that this thread is a parody.

The games have an intellectual member of a race recently lifted from being barbarians, the equivalent to a futuristic samurai, multiple black men with zero connotations of coming from the hood yo, a genetically engineered corporate executive, a super-human lab rat, an alien past the average life span of his species who thinks and talks like he's on speed, and more. The game has more (and more interesting) minorities than if they decided to perpetuate stereotypes hundreds of years into the future.



Have you ever thought about how little difference there really is in different human races if we all dressed the same? Most of the people we meet look American...which means what really? That they are brunette, red-head, or blond? That they have any eye color or shape? That no one decided space age clothing was a bad idea so they wear togas or kimonos to keep an ethnic flavor?

I for one really enjoyed Jacob as a character. I chose to save Ash on vermire so my human buddy (Alenko) was gone. Nice to have a grounded and moral human comrade again. The fact that he is black should have nothing to do with... ANYTHING!
