Hey all,

I'm wondering if  anyone has any tips for setting up awesome charges or can recall a satisfying charge?   I'm finally playing as vanguard and am LOVING it! This class is definitely one of/if not the most entertaining in the game.  I am starting to get a handle on the who to charge/who not to and have seen some awesome charges--sending guys flying over cliffs doesn't seem to get old haha.  Anyway,  my favorite so far has been setting squad cryo and using area charge--the best part  was seeing a frozen merc shatter against the wall--first time it  happened for so I got pretty excited haha.  Any other ideas/good places for awesome  charges?

my favorite charge was yesterday. at the final boss (he had zero health left) there was a harbinger and i was dying so i charged the harbinger, took him out and unloaded a few in baby reapers face just before he got his shot off, really epic



tip on charging on hardcore/insanity: charge often but smart. dont wait to get defenses down it helps you keep track of them when they don't go flying and get real close, like REAL close. thats the only way the shotgun wokrks.

Charge once: Hit a Sniper
Charge twice: hit a soldier behind cover
Charge three times: Hit a rocketman behind cover
Soldier guy peaks out then hides. I was like "DARN! *hee hee hee* I was hopeing to go four times nonstop with no gap."
I literally went from one end of the area to the other durring the quest to get Grunt to the other while my allies and to RUN to catch up to me. Was so funny.
Second best one was during Thanes quest where I charged a guy over the railing and watched him plummit to his doom while he was shooting me at point blank range. The guy even had shields on.
Charge is very funny to use when your in a outdoor enviroment I swear.

get mordin to area cryo then charge in for multiple shatters.

my current fetish is pulling enemies and then spamming Charge at the highest point, hoping that there might be an engine glitch that essentially lets me leap into the skies. so far (approx 4 recruitments done) i've only managed it twice. i'm looking forward to jack's recruitment for all the raised walkways.

oh yeah, use cryo ammo, its great to charge in there, shoot off their defenses and there's a good chanced they'll freeze, shoot another guy and just beat the ****** out of them and watch them shatter

It's not one I think can be duplicated, but my favorite would be during Mordin's loyalty mission, where I slammed a defenseless krogan backward. The poor guy flew right over an explosive crate, and I used the time dilation to blast the crate with my shotgun and blammo, the krogan flew into the low ceiling with such force that he immediately came back down again and crashed into the floor as an ashen heap of dead krogan. It was glorious.

My favourite charge was one day I was doing the Thane mission (the one in the towers, can't remember the name) and I charged into someone and he fell off the building cause of it.

YMIRC's are even better to charge...no joke. I catch them with their robot pants down and head shot their scopes with a shotgun afterward.

I charge the mechs too it's a lot of fun, there's just gotta be cover somewhere.

Yeah, charging the Geth Colossus was a blast. Most fun I've had playing this game, and it's not close.



After that, I had some fun charging around the map on Jack's rectuitment mission, and some of the long range charges during the final mission are golden.
