For some reason the Login button in-game has suddenly stopped working. It just looks greyed out and doesn't light up when I type my password.

It was working last night when I played, but today - for seemingly no reason - has stopped working.

The same thing happened to me. it also said my comp is not connected to the internet. Is it a problem with the network or something?

Happened to me yesterday, don't know why. I quit the game and tried again later and then it worked.

Same here, it was fine yesterday. It still loads saves with the DLC though so I'm not too worried.

Yeah, told me I'm not connected to internet. Rebooted everything, machine,router,cable modem no connection reported by game. I clearly am. Can we play anyway?

I think you should be fine playing wise. It just wont update your profile on the network.

same here and i'm at soldier peak, so it froze my characters

It only deactivates your content if it fails to validate your account. If you are not logged in and the game/you don't attempt to (when the server is down or some such) then your content will remain active.

I can't play at all. The game just tells me that I am unauthorized.

Just as well it didn't do that at 0530 this morning when I was playing... Maybe they have shut it all down!

Worked with all DLC's except Return to Ostagar. Now I am authorized on all DLC's except RtO.

Edit: I still can't play because my save have RtO activated. I guess RtO hasn't been verified or something.

My Login button is also greyed out, but I'm able to play with all DLC. It may help to choose "Load game," rather than "Resume." At least that's what I did, and my game is running, and Shale is in my party. They're in Orzammar, though...I'm afraid to test Ostagar or Soldier's Peak.

Apart from updating your achievements to the net (which imho is a load of bullocks) I see no need to have your game setup to logon each time you want to play.

It just causes problems like this.

Just unclick the option to automatically log on and you shouldn't have a problem.

hmmm, maybe I should just turn that off and use the LOAD option instead of RESUME - presumably DLC works fine with this setup?

The fix is not to log in. As long as you are logged out all DLC and such will work just fine.

Yes, it only de-authorizes content if it fails to login, not if you logout.

edit: it's working for me again.
