[DLAN_Immortality]

I've just released the beta of my mod "Ser Gilmore NPC" in which Ser Gilmore, a knight that appears in the human noble origin comes back to join your group (more information about the mod here: http://social.biowar...iscussion/1126/

I had an actor who voiced many lines already, but he disappeared without a trace and I haven't heard from him in weeks... :-(

So now I'm searching for a new actor with a lot of time in his hands, because the whole project is around 1600 lines to voice.

The preferred voice would be of a british speaking guy, and if the voice sounds like the original, the better, but otherwise it's no problem. :-)

Well I'm Australian, not a Brit. . But if you can't find anyone I would be willing to do it and should be free 4 days a week to do so.

Can you fake a British accent? X-D IceNinja used to fake it. It wasn't bad at all. ;-)

Yeah I was just going over the lines earlier, you weren't kidding at all. I'v never really tried a British accent, are you after more of an English one or a Scottish type? I'll try out some Britspeak, if it's not horrible I'll find a way to get you some samples.

Ha ha, yes, I'm not kidding. That's why I'm warning you. It would suck if you suddenly couldn't continue in the middle of it. :-/



I think British will do nicely. Maybe a bit like the original voice actor, but please don't fake your voice, just the accent. :-)



I'm not worried about a change in the voice at all, because after all the Ostagar thing, people may not even remember the original Ser Gilmore voice. And if they do, we can assume that while he was captured he got some very nasty blows to the trachea.... X-D

If I start this I don't intend to stop, but before any of that I have to get the accent right 3;



So any sort of British? I'v got a few Irish friends that I like to mock in there accent (poorly, mind you) is Ireland even British? If not I'll just copy the people from BBC news for a bit.



Is there a time line for this? I'll warn you that I will have to go away for about a month around Mid September (hopefully we can get this done before that, assuming I can produce something decent!)

Time line... well... no, not really, but how about ASAP? Too short, maybe... I'm sorry, I tend to squeeze people dry... :-) You tell me, how long do you think this could take? :-)

Well, If I remember correctly it was 1600 lines?

I guess I'll aim for around 50-100 lines a day, 3 or 4 times a week, maybe more, depending on how my throat feels at the time, I know it's not a lot but I'll try and get you a sample as soon as I can.

Edit: At the moment I have 6 samples ready to hand over if you want them (I am sure the accent could use a lot of work though) I am wondering. . In which format do you want these in? At the moment they are in WMA

The project involves a lot of voicing, further than that, I don't think it adds anything too strange. :-) I'd love to hear a sample, so I'll contact you via PM. :-)
