I was rather impressed with how quickly Bioware responded. So I thought I'd throw what I feel the game NEEDS to add:
1.A. I'm on the PS3. Can you PLEASE add a DLC that allows us to respec our characters like the PCs can with a mod? There are SOOOOOOOOOO many times when I wish I could respec the members of my party.
1.B. Frankly, I want my HN warrior to be Dual-Wield/Archer so I would REALLY like to get rid of Shield Block? (not online to confirm). Also, I REALLY want my rogues to NOT have Poison Making. Since I'm PS3, I don't know if the respeccing mod would allow us to remove a skill that our character starts with or not. Therefore, I'd like a item added to the game which allows us to remove a skill (and one to remove a talent), and give us the point from removing it, thus allowing to choose a skill (or talent) that we want our character to have.
2. I have heard people wish that there was an Archer specialization. I myself WISH* that there was Enchanter specialization for mages. Since you'll be redesigning the Specialization look for Awakenings, I was hoping you'd be amenable to adding new specializations to Origins.
3. For rogues and mages who aren't capable of wearing Warden Commander's armor and would like to wear something with the warden symbol on it, could you add a warden scout armor set and a warden wizard robe as armor DLC? I know about Avernus' robe but I don't kill him to acquire it.
For DLC that's not "needed" but I'd like added:
1. Could you PLEASE add a "Knock" spell to DA:O? If you do add it, could it be able to disarm traps and not just unlock doors and chests? I don't want to replace a rogue with this spell; I just want the spell to be equal to a rogue with 1 lockpicking skill.
If no, could you (in more of a patch than a DLC) please make Daveth (and likewise Ser Jory so he's not the only level 3) level 4 and make him have 1 Lockpicking. (For those of us who play Warrior or Mage and would like to open the chests around Ostagar or the 2 locked chests in the Kokari Wilds; or disarm the traps near the Emissary in the Kokari Wilds for XP. Its seems to me that Daveth, being a Rogue, could be very useful, if he had 1 lockpicking, at Ostagar.)
*P.S. I "caps lock" wish because I do NOT want to make my mage a Blood Mage. My mage, Ellanea, having been torn at such a young age from her family, considers her relationship with the First Enchanter, since he has always had an interest in her training, to be father/daughter-like role. Having this relationship, Irving has taught her that Magic is a gift if used properly. Though she hasn't become a believer like *, she has adopted "Magic must serve man and never to rule over him" as a creed she lives her life by.
As a mage for the Grey Wardens, she accepts that she could learn Blood Magic for the good of the Grey Wardens. But, having seen it ruin Jowan's chance at becoming a mage (a rationialization for having to betray him), having been to Soldier's Peak and discovering what Avernus did, and after what happens at the Circle of Mages tower, she feels that dealing with Demons is too much of a threat to herself and her fellow Grey Wardens. She is wise enough to realize that she could endanger people around her by trying to pridefully believe that she could control demons where these other people have failed. For that reason, I, in a RP sense, refuse to have her choose Blood Magic as a specialization.
As for Arcane Warrior, I would VERY MUCH rather enhance her casting ability than her tanking ability. With Shapeshifter, I don't have Morrigan use it with ANY of my other characters so I don't want to have my mage take it.
My desire to have a "human commoner" origin is mostly a wish to make a Human character that isn't a Cousland. I have my grievances with HN but I love this game enough that "human commoner" is just a wish. Enchanter, on the other hand, is a NEED to me. I DON'T want to be a Blood Mage. I DON'T want to be a Arcane Warrior. And, I DON'T want to be a Shapeshifter. Ellanea like Danacetia is one of my main characters and will be carried over to future expansions and sequals (otherwise it'd look stupid if Danacetia does the Ultimate Sacrifice and then the "Warden from Orlais" is named Danacetia and whatever origins come in future expansions).
