Hello all,

A month ago I came here complaining about what most with the DLC: I download Warden's Keep from the spanish PSN, I go to install it, I open the game and... it's not there. Surprise, I come here and find out that my game is originally from SGP, so that content, along with Blood Armor and Stone Prisoner, isn't compatible.

So, with some help from people in this forum, I figure out that if I make a SGP PS3 account I can access this content and then use it in my spanish game.
After doing this, I could happily retrieve both Stone Prisoner and the Blood armour. However, not Warden's Keep, which I have fully downloaded and installed yet shows up for purchase - as if I hadn't done so already.

So I contact EA, and this sequence of emails is what follows:

I recently purchased the "Warden's Keep" expansion through the spanish
PSN. However, I couldn't get this to work and I didn't know why until I
read that there was compatibility issues if the game was from Singapore
(which mine is). I made a SG username and now I can see the Warden's
Keep expansion up in the DLC menu, but it shows as if I had not
purchased it.

Thus, my questions refers to wether something could
be done about this. I've read people saying they had their purchases
version transfered, say from Spanish to Singapore version, but I'm
unaware of the details of such process.

In any case, my EA username is: XXXXXXX@XXXXXXX.com
My PS3 ID is: Onyrica (this is that with which I purchased the expansion)

And in relation to this, when "Awakening" comes out, how will all this
affect the download of the content? Will I have the same problems?

Thank
you in advance for your help,

C.N.Price

Hello again,

The date and time of the purchase was: 06/02/2010 @
05:29 PM
As for the means of payment, I used cash (via credit card)

And on the DLC code, I've been searching for this and the only thing I
could come up with was the digits inscribed in the email I received
after my purchase, which goes as it follows:

EP0006-BLES00699_00-DAOPRCNRX1000000-E001
Castillo de los guardas (Warden's Keep)

The transaction number
was: 1432840690

I'm not sure if either of these are the code.
Please tell me where to find the number if this wasn't it.

Thank you and sorry for the inconveniences.

Regards,

C.N.Price

Hello Cynthia,

Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts Customer Support.

We are really sorry but we have checked your account
and found that still you don't have bioware points available in your
account. You did not purchase the DLC item (Warden's Keep) as of now.So
firstly you need to buy the 560 points to purchase the Warden's Keep
at"social.bioware.com".Because there is no way to get warden's keep dlc
item in your game. After purchasing the points ,you will get option to
purchase items through the "Downloadable Content" tab from the main
menu. Then you can see the item in your game.
If there is anything
else we can help you with, please do let us know.

Sincerely,

Roberto

Hello again,

I'm shocked to hear such a blunt statement as
"You've not purchased Warden's Keep", since it's a direct assumption
that as your customer I'm lying or trying to scam you into giving me
something for free.

I don't know what else to provide to you to ensure that I have purchased this content.
As I originally said, I paid for this in cash through the spanish PSN store - 6'99€ in a direct
transaction through the Playstation Network, with a Mastercard credit
card for which I have both online and physical statements that I paid
and technically received the purchased content.

The fact is that I can't access this content from my game because it's a Spanish content
and the game comes from Singapore, yet the downloaded content still
shows up in my account. I do not understand how you can't see this
somewhere with all the information I've given you.

Also, you tell me to use Bioware Points, but as I understand it these points are for
purchase via PC games and I'm a PS3 user. The only option I was given
for purchase was to buy with cash through the PSN.

Now, if I log on from a Singapore user account, I can see this content available for
purchase in the Downloadable content menu within the game (something I
could not see with the spanish account), but it compells me to purchase
it again. While I could do this, and spend yet another 7€, I refuse to
double the amount everyone has paid to play this content just because
you, as a multinational company, can not find the evidence that I have
indeed bought this content as of date 6th of February of 2010 at 5:29
pm, GMT+1, under the PS3 name Onyrica and the PSN account XXXXXX@XXXXXX.com

If you find that there's any other evidence I can provide, be it data,
screenshots or even a mailed bank statement, please do inform me. Until
then, I await your answer.

So there it is. I don't know if this is me being on the thick end, them not understanding what I'm trying to get at period, or things just getting lost in translation.

I'm pretty sure more people have had this problem and it's already been solved, yet here I am, stuck with 2 bank statements saying I paid this, a PSN account that says I did so as well, emails, receipts and all sort of things to say I have bought this content and an EA rep who doesn't care about it all.

I'm not sure how to proceed now. I know some would say "It's just 7€, pay it again and get it over with", but this already comes as more of a case of personal pride than anything else. I refuse to have things go their silly way just because someone at EA thought that making games incompatible would be funny in this era of globalitzation.

So... ideas on what to do, anyone? I'm currently waiting for their next response, but my intuition says it's not gonna be a fun one.

And what worries me now isn't actually the WK's DLC, but Awakening. I was very much looking forward to that, but if I'm gonna purchase it for 40€ just to find that it's not compatible and some moron decides to end it as easy as saying "You did not buy this content" I swear I'll pick the next ferry to go make a poster with their face.
