Some people didn't get a chance to get the terminus armor or the sweet sniper rifle or even the cool visor. Heres my question. Do you think bioware will let you buy it later on. I think its only fair. I mean they aren' t losing anything on it and they will be making more money because you know people are going to want to buy the terminus armor and its heavy weapon which I say is freaking awesome and my favorite weapon in the game.

I think that a couple of months after ME:3 is released, all ME:2 DLC should be released free.

The free DLC coupled with the Cerberus Network was an incentive for people to pre-order the game and get it new.

If you want that DLC, it's your responsibility to fulfill either of those conditions. It's perfectly fair.

Yeah right, people have to miss out on content because they didn't preorder multiple times? What a joke!

I don't see how they are missing out on content, those item's are special bonuses for people who took the time to pre-order the game, or get codes from Dr. Pepper or whatever. I don't think they should be made available to everyone just cause some people feel they are missing out on content cause they are not. I could understand if the people got access to missions for pre-ordering everyone getting access to them eventually. I think the weapon's and armor's that people got for pre-ordering, buying the collector's edition, or by getting them from Dr. Pepper should stay exclusive.

Terminus Armor/Blackstorm Projector is reserved for 360 pre-orders from Gamestop.
Inferno Armor is reserved for 360 pre-orders from any other retailer.
Incisor Rifle reserved for those who buy the PC version.
Collector Armor/Collector Assault Rifle reserved for those who purchase the Collectors Edition.

Incentive.

I don't see the problem. If you want the codes that bad, get on eBay or look around for people giving up codes. They'll sell for less than what Microsoft will want to give it up for, anyway. Easier than hoping that EA will listen to you.

I wanted the Collector armor but that's CE incentive. I'm not "missing out." The game isn't any less playable. No skin off of my nose.

It's completely fair.

I'm not saying its for me. Its for some of my friends who did by the game, but should get the chance to experience the weapon. I don't think it should be an incentive 6 months from now. That is crap. Its just extra content and six months from now no one will care. Why not let people get the chance to enjoy the content later on. I think its stupid that they shouldn't because they couldn't pre-order the game from a game stop. What about people who don't live near a game stop its not fair to them. Its bull skeet! I say a couple of months from now let them have it. Don't give it to them for free. I'm saying charge them for it. This way bioware makes a few extra dollars off of the deal. This way if they want the content they pay for it and no bodies hurt. Besides I got all the content. I'm not saying how, but I got everything!. HEHE

I got all of the 360 DLC,**** the system. They're are a few reuseable codes for the inferno Terminus and Collector stuff. Just like the Dr.pepper.

Mentioned that already in my last post.

There are people lurking around game forums who are willing to give away codes. I'm not sure how many more people have them but if your friends missed out on that, too, it's not EA's responsibility to make up for it.

They can also find them on eBay. People have been selling Cerberus codes for $2. I'm sure they can find the pre-order/PC/Collector armor for just as cheap.

Dr. Pepper codes can be found on the IGN forums and are reusable.

You'll need about three e-mails to get all the promo items but you can easily make up a fake one.

Not so hard.

The bonuses are just that. Bonuses. You get it if you get it, you don't if you don't. It's not EA's problem if your friends don't live by a Gamestop or can't order online. They're not making you pay an extra amount of money or work extra hard to play it. They're not withholding anything of real substance. There's no "should." There's just "I want."

If I go to a concert and my circumstances force me to leave early, and right after I leave I find out the band suddenly gave away all their merch for free, I'm not suddenly entitled to that because I couldn't be there. The concert isn't any less of a good show, I just didn't get the bonus. I shouldn't expect the band to call me up and go, "Hey, here's the shirt you missed out on." They can, and it'd be great if they did, but they're not responsible for it.

EA isn't responsible for codes your friends missed out on because they couldn't or didn't pre-order, no matter how much you think you should have them. It's fair, whether you like it or not. If you want them, go around the system.

Dear nerds,

This is a thread for after the codes have been gone for people who would like to experience the extra content later who didn't get it earlier. I'm not talking about buying code from some A-hole who sells codes online. I'm talking about getting the content from bioware for a price. This is fair and it does work towards EA's and Biowares benieft. If you make an argument out of it, because well people couldn't get it your arrogent in all the manner. I'm saying a couple of months from now. Why should I get a code from some Jack on Ebay, when I could get the content from Bioware or EA for a small price say 50 to 100 Ms or bioware points later on!

You're whining about it now, so you're being given a more immediate solution. You don't want it, it's no one's problem but yours. It's definitely not EA or BioWare's problem, either. They're not responsible for you. If you missed out, you missed out.

That free DLC will probably bundle up with the Platinum Edition anyway.

Just wait it out if you're that miffed about it. No one's arguing with you, victim.

Nah, no point to that. They are exclusives, they should stay exclusive.

If they want to add new armor and weapons, they should be just to that, new armor and weapons.

Thats what I'm talking about. Getting the content later on. lol. You just answered my question. I'm not arguing with you. I'm just stated a point and everyone bashes, but if it comes out in a platinum. Then no harms. This is what I was asking about that would make sense plus it goes to bioware. I'm sorry I support this company and anyone who trys to make a buck off them can stick it!

Word. I preordered, just so I'd get the terminus armor. But I never, ever use it. Or my blood dragon or collector armor. How difficult can it be, really, to give us the option to toggle the helmets on/off? Posted Image

It's no joke. It's a ridiculous scam meant to erode developer support. That way BioWare will be more at home in the EA family.

They've already stated that the CE armor and weapon is just that. The Collector's Edition armor and weapon. If you didn't by the CE, that's your issue. The armor and weapon are exclusive to the CE and are never going out to the public.

The other stuff? Those are pre-order bonuses that may make it out eventually.

...because moving to America to get the preorder for the Terminus and Blackstorm Projector from Gamestop was clearly an option...

I'd like to get both those but there was no realistic way to get them in the UK.

I'd more more want the projector, as this actually looks FUN!

Me too (cept Dr Pepper gear).

Blackstorm is great, until you try to use it on a vehicle. If it actually hits (ruling out use on Gunships), it barely scratches the armor.

I asked the question a month or so ago. I think it would only be fair to the entire player base for the devs to release all of the pre-order DLC to all members of the Cerberus Network for free after a few months have passed. There are people who complain about this, though, because they feel like the items they received by pre-ordering were "exclusive" and as such should remain exclusive to them. I think that's a bunch of crap--this isn't an MMO where you're trying to have better stuff than everyone else--and that it's totally selfish to want the rest of the fans to not experience some gameplay-affecting items just because you pre-ordered the same game as them. The fact that those items remain exclusive for a few months should be enough to justify it, then everyone can share and not be butt-hurt about it. That's just me though, and personally I play the PC version, so no piece of DLC is off-limits to me, nor is it out of the reach of any other PC player. Just do some searches and you'll find what you're looking for.

Note: Collector's Edition items should remain unique to those who purchased the Collector's Edition, because that was one of the added incentives of purchasing the CE, and people paid more money for it because of that. That being said, however, and as someone who purchased the CE myself, I wouldn't be upset at all if BioWare decides to give that to everyone--for a price or not--because I think every player should have access every item in the game after a certain period of time.
