Ok, so second playthrough on a PS3. Went through Lothering without issue. First playthrough worked correctly.
Once I left Lothering though, I found that Lothering didn't close. I can return to it (and have multiple times). I have a feeling that this broke my first meeting with Zevram, which I have not seen yet. As I have one fight remaining for the elves, done the first task in Orzammar and defended Redcliffe, along with a ton of board and denerim side quests, I take this to be abnormal. I had planned on Zevram for this group. My biggest fear was I wouldn't be able to begin the Trial of Crows quest. I did notice that it started, but when I visited Ignacio, my dialogue was as if I *had* been attacked, even though I hadn't.
Anybody seen this? If so, know of a workaround I can perform that will close Lothering and pick up Zevram?
Weird problem

I can't tell if you've actually finalized any of your main quests. Lothering will stay open until you complete one of the treaty quests or the Urn quest from what I understand. Completing one of these quests is what also triggers the encounter with Zevran. HTH.

I *believe* have always triggered Zevram very early, before I finish any of the quests. I am very close to finishing up them though so I guess I will find out. I was under the assumption that Lothering closed as soon as you left it.
I am at the Lady of the Forest for the elves. I have defended Redcliffe, but not defeated the demon. I have to fight Jarvia next. I haven't touched the Mages Circle (I am hoping to find 3 more corpse galls before I start). I will try this though.

Zevran is my favorite companion and I try and trigger him as fast as possible. Quickest way for me is to do the Urn after Loethering. The other quests take too long and I'm impatient to get him

Lothering does not close until you finish at least one other quest area.

Ok, two many people telling me I am wrong, it must be me. Sorry for the confusion.
BUT, I then thought that the Trial of Crows quests didn't start until you had met Zevran.
