It was just the first example that popped into my head, and the easiest one to think up/write. Velanna's reaction would probably be something more amusing. Some cursing in elvish. Probably the equivalent of telling that shemlan male scum to go screw himself.

This is what makes me think the one guy is lying about having it. If someone really disliked the game so much, they could give you a reason without massively spoiling the game. Saying how terrible it is without any reason as to why isn't very convincing. Especially when you have other people saying how awesome it is in the same thread.

Not really. I've yet to see him say a single thing that he would've needed to have the game to know. Vague responses about something being awful, and trying to convince people not to buy it with poor reasoning doesn't count as proof.

yah lots of people got it early apperently some stores have already put it on the shelves for you to buy (i saw some other forums about it mentioning target as one of those stores) i reserved mine so i wouldnt mind waiting till tuesday

just some word on the equipment again - regardless of if you start as an import (which has clearly benefits - lvl, gold and equipment wise) - even as a new character you will get decent magic equipment - and all characters you meet will start with decent - sometimes very nice never seen equipment - so don't worry...

Nemesis: I have a question regarding importing characters, and the new armor/weapons you find in awakening. Should we bring with us the good stuff from origins (juggernaut, falon's coat, wade's armor, veshaille ...) or is it better to bring gold because it gets obsolete right away and you end up selling it any way?.



Regarding respec ... I read somewhere that you can respec as many times as you need, and it only cost you 6 gold. So if you dont get it right first time, you can always do it again ... and again

new talents are really neat...altough the shield tree becomes a bit dispensable with all the crowd control talents you get...hmmmmmmm



well i would bring the best equipment... and gold, you can buy some nice stuff in the beginning... but it is an advantage if you have lots of nice gear - cause you need lots of gold to buy stuff, some of the new stuff is as good or better, some isn't...so bring all the best stuff you have with you and you will have a slight bonus during the first few hours

Can you import characters who used Character Respecialization Mod? Have/Could you try?
Almost all my characters used it, I wanna know if I need to replay them before hand.

Also, does Oghrens approval from origins matter? Does he recognize it if you completed his sidequest(or messed it up)?

Awakening automatically forces you to install the new Patch. I got my Version from wog.ch as well but I didn't manage to play that long . All major retailers have to the game in switzerland...

lets just say you find gifts as in origin to alter approval - very stange gifts actually... and people will recognise you depending on who you are



i did use some mods in origins, but non are working in awakening
