you get 3 specializations but probably wont have the points to fill 3 because of the new trees in the "standard" talent sets
there are several new staffes, new mage equipment and sets and there is a freakin awesom staff, wont spoil anything, i like to have it but its 180 gold...
i think your origin affects the game mostly if you're wheter orlisean or human noble...but not that much honestly...some different dialogue...so don't worry about it
decisions from dragon age didnt play such a huge role neither, but decisions within awakening have severe impact on quests
runecrafting is fun...just spent 3 hours with it...but needs lot of time...
you will usually find 1-3 extraordinary pieces of equipment at every merchant (have encountered 6 or so so far) but a good piece of armor or weapon is usually 150gold+, a shield, shoes, gloves, jewlery etc. around 50-100...i only could afford to buy 1 piece so far because i spendt a lot of money on runes and respecing...
but you get very hot runes very early... with runes and equipment oghren has now far over 70 constitution ...my little steel-ball...:-)

Excellent! I like to hear this, thank you. Any news about any decent looking Mage clothing?

I'm guessing that Awakening performs about the same as DAO does on your PC?
Are there many new looking armors, or are they mostly just different color variations of the kinds found in DAO?
Any notion on how far along you are in the game- does it still show the "% Dragon Age completed" in the stats menu?
In non-spoiler terms, how would you compare the story to Origins?
Are the villains, like the Architect more interesting than the Archdemon and the Blight in DAO?
Many thanks!

22 damage for a ranged weapon is huge?!! strongest bow in dragon age was 12 or so

Whoops thought you meant it did 22 damage not that it was spec'd for 22 damage that is huge
I knew the PC got 3 specializations was wondering about the NPCs number of specializations so I can better craft my ideal party (like making Anders the ultimate spirit healer/warrior)

If you have a save of a Warden who died in the Ultimate Sacrifice ending of Origins, or are willing to replay part of the original game to get that ending, can you tell us how the game begins and how apparent plot inconsistensies are explained?

Switzerland, and parts of the USA seem to have been able to get hold of the pack early. Read the thread before posting.
If they are all trolls, then congrats. They managed to be quite good.
Other than that, unless you read everything, you are trolling, warden guru.

why the **** am I not be able to transfer my One-Handed-Longsword Starfang to the expansion? I read that DLC-content won't be transferable, OK, that's compromisable, but why the **** not the best One-Handed-Longsword in the game?
Because it's DLC?

**** on that, got the Keening Blade and Topsider's Honor along me with some ass-kicking runes... I overlooked the thread a little and saw a question about new materials, well as far as I was be able to sneak-peak it, White Silver has been added as a level for tier and another one, which I have not been able to discover yet because of a lack in time, damn army dutie next week, can't start playing like I want to, otherwise I'm going to be distracted...
Edit:
Started all over with Awakening with an Epilogue character, my last save after the defeat of the Archdemon is somehow corrupted, Alistair got the Juggernaut Armor and if I go ahead to import the character of this save, he wears no armor, because I got the Warden Armor on me and I can't change the party equipment after all...
Personally I think, that has been solved bad!
