I'm curious about one thing: did you have any mods installed? If so, did Awaking give you any trouble importing the character? How is the importing process?

A few questions, if you don't mind:
1) Are dweomer runes still present? If yes, are they armor or weapon runes now?
2) Are +x% dodge items present?
3) Are dodge and SR capped (can you get 100%, of course if you have items to test it)?
I'm trying to figure out if this is actually playable...

okay, can tell you this, if you start a new game (not import) you'll get a full equipment of magic items - everything, weapons, armors, rings etc... of course it's not the best gear...but youre not naked at least...

importing is no problem at all... you can still use your former save game afterwards... it just like "switch career" with the same name twice
you dont get new faces or hair cuts to create your guy, but i tink they have some additional colours... or i didnt recognise them before

I was able to buy Awakening in a store today here (Switzerland).
Anyway, I can say a few thing about the importing process: the game lets you choose between all your characters; there is an "advanced" option that lets you choose between individual save games (including those before the ending of Origins). I was happy to find items from RtO in my inventory, too.

havent opened that yet....need to unlock
the new shield skills are cool, juggernaut, an aura that reduces dammage depending on constitution and in the second state nullifies damage and a mode that constantly draw aggro...
2h, 2 more skills to damage multiple enemies, also a sustained one that lets you hit in every direction all the time to hit surrounding enemies, and 1 sustained skill that also damages all enemies nearby - so all about hitting several targets
dualwield is not much new, a new double-critical strike, a strike that bleeds and increses critical chance, the known flury one and one that cripples foe
the last new talent of the warrior tree is nice "massacre" - spinning around, killing all low lvl enemies around you and inflicting criticals on elites NIIIICE, other talents are for restoring stamina, drawing attention of enemies and instantly killing low lvl enemies
the archer gets veeeery nice skills - one that gives bonus to pretty much everyhing, one that slows all enemies around the archer down that you can shoot em more often before they reach you, and one that hits with a tripple-critical-hit!!!!!!! and then shatters in more arrows and hits all targets behind the prime target...

Another curiosity: are there any sign of romances from Origins, like Leliana or Zevran? I don't know something like an explanation for their absence, a letter or something?
Since I live in Italy, tomorrow I'll try some local stores to see if I can find a copy too!

I'm hitting the stores tomorrow.
Question: Do your decisions REALLY matter? Any mention of your previous companions?Or just the obligatory stuff like "you are the hero of Ferelden" and "Alistair is king"..

rogue has some nice ones too
heartseeker - special attack
ghost - you dont get any damage for a short time
weak spots - enemies will suffer more damage from any attack (regardless from where it comes) for some time
and the coolest: flicker - within a certain area, you high-speed from target to target and backstab to backstab

I watched the live demo, and yes, that move was badass. My back-from-the-dead 2H warrior will be a very happy woman.
