First I would like to say that this pertains mainly to insanity level of play.I would like to see the cover system and the sheild / armor tweaked. Ever since "Gears of War" came out  many games have copied their cover system. The problem is no one has even tried to improve it. I have experienced many in game deaths due to the fact that the cover system basicly treats you like a magnet that has been stuck to a wall. I would also like to see the enemies have better "AI" rather than just giving them better sheilds and armor than the player. For some reason developers seem to always increase difficulty by just giving the enemy more powerful sheilds , armor or weapons. It just doesn't make sense that you are supposed to be outfitted with the best but all enemies have better sheilds and armor than you. I really like Mass Effect 1&2. these are the only complaints that I have.

They actually flank you more on higher difficulty levels, unlike in 1. It also seemed to me that they use leapfrogging more, but it might have been just me.

I like the flanking. To me that makes it a better game. But to take down a barrier then armor only to find the barrier back again repeatedly is not very imaginative and kind of annoying.

Yeah, that's exasperating but the Praetorians do it on every difficulty level. And it's nowhere near as bad as ME1's insanity, where you spent five minutes pouring rounds into a Geth Colossus.

The cover system is fine the way it is.

What needs to be done is a patch that makes Shepard remove his helmet during conversation.

I agree that he should be able. But I don't like sticking to things ,that never happens to me at home.
