There's two ways to get infinite skills points for 360 version...One isn't considered a glitch?

I'm asking this because I read somewhere that if we use a glitch to get infinite points then that game save might not work for ME3.  One is where you retrain and the other is having 10 skill pts available then pressing a and b at the same time when you're about to evolve a power.  Is the one where you retrain powers considered a glitch?  In my opinion that isn't a glitch because that's how the game works.  But the other way is a glitch because it's not natural for that to happen.  I just want to be sure so I can use the save for ME3.

Interesting, as seeing all their Xbox games have the press 2 buttons at one time glitch somewhere.

Not sure if they can invalidate a save based on which glitch was used, since both get you max points.

Hehehehehehe......yes glitching is very bad.....the boogie man will come and eat you if you do. :alien:

Be afraid.....be very afraid. I also heard that some religion somewhere says you'll go to hell if you glitch.

I highly doubt using the 'glitch' will have any effect on ME3. There were the same kinds of glitches in ME1 and they didn't mess up anyone's save.

And just think of the shame. Every time you leave the house people will look at yu and instantly recognize you're a glitcher and nobody will ever speak to you again and nobody will ever hire you and your mom will be VERY dissapointed in you so much that you'll never see another desert in your life.

As far as I know there hasn't been any decree from a developer indicating that either "glitch" will invalidate a save file for ME3 purposes.

But it would seem logical to conclude that, if one of the methods does invalidate the save file, the other method would also, since in both cases you would have a character with too many skills points.  (Something like, if savefile has skill points greater than 51 then savefile cannot be imported.  Any other method of checking to see if you were glitching would seem impracticable.  Then again, I am obviously not a programmer, so who knows.)

Bottom line, glitch at your own risk.

It's a glitch, since it gives you an extra point while retraining any other power does not give you that point.
