There's been a lot of pro-Sheploo stuff lately but fair is fair, I therefore start:

Not My Shepard


I for one love my custom Sheps and know others do too, I never like Sheploo representing the game as he's not a character I have ever or will ever use.
So let's show our appreciation for the varied and wonderful custom Shepards out there. Male or female. Yes including Ugly Shepard.

Note: This is not a hate thread. I just don't like Sheploo's limelight hogging. If you actually like playing as Sheploo.. well goot for you.

Its marketing, nothing more. Though they could always have his helmet on in the advertisements... Problem solved.

I've never used either default Sheps. I found it really odd the other day when I saw some youtube vids that featured game play with the default Shep. Hearing the voice but a different character design was surreal. If I have the option to create a face/character I'll always do that over playing the default.

I love my custom Shep to bits. His name's Hikaru Shepard, he's a Paragon, he's a Japanese Mr. Clean, and he's got the nicest smile.







Now seeing Sheploo videos etc feels very bizarre, because I hear "my" Shepard's voice coming out of a completely different person.

Well that settles it, ill join your anti-shep-thing you got going!. If not just to see where it goes.

Silly question, Zhijn, how do you get your profile icon to show your custom Shepard? I'd love to have one of mine, but no clue how to do it (doesn't help that the only pictures I have of him are off a television screen )

Never had any interest in playing 'default' Shepard.

It's much more fun for me to play my own characters, not someone elce's.

The Angry One...they had to pick A Shepard for marketing purposes. They can't really show a different Shep for each advertisement/picture/video/commercial, etc....

I prefer to play as a shep the mimics what I look like....I just cant get into the default shep.....well not the male one cause I like the female shep default

The pants and arms are perfect, but Smara has gigantic shoulder pads that don't work with much, fortunately I can use transparent armour pieces!

nope..big saggy grandma boobs ftl....lol...otherwise I wish you could get blue skin on a human model..or I knew how to change a companions hair color and maybe skin
