How do you know that? Has it been confirmed that she won't have a dialogue wheel or are you just talking BS?DirtyVagrant wrote...
She won't be an LI, she's like Zaeed! No dialogue wheel to even interact with her fully. Though I have to wonder, given Christina Norman's comment how FemShep's would be happy with her, I wonder if she hits on FemSheps or something. Or just generally flirty with any Shepard, heh.

Yes. Though I think Jacob was written for the guys, honestly.
I agree. Or maybe it just seems that way because very few girls like him.
I'm a little bummed that THIS is what she meant by the DLC that would make FemSheps happy. Although I'd be pretty happy to wear a dess if that was an option, not gonna lie.

Looks interesting. Hopefully she won't be a love interest. Also, am I really the only one who isn't reminded of Tali when I look at her?
No, you're not the only one. I don't really see how she looks like Tali at all....maybe because she's wearing some sort of hood?

she doesn't look that attractive... will we get 30% discount for that sloppy face?

Her attire is very similar to the style of Tali's Quarian armor, the way the hip belts are and the hood, etc. Also, the omni tool makes it even more similar. Wonder if she could be part Quarian or raised by Quarians? I'm already considering this for a Halloween outfit

...every character has to be drop dead gorgeous? Why can't real life be like that! Hmph.

But yeah... I would prefer not to have her as an LI...
Cause then I would have to run through the game for the 6th time to test her. :-P
Also, her looks and poses make me think Bioware decided just to retexture a Quarian model to look human instead of making her a unique human model.

So you guys, and girls, can't have romantic interests with people who are their friends or mentors? I agree that they need to expand upon the friend facet; Because, I like Garrus and I find him extremely boring in ME2 unless you are playing a FemShep. But romancing someone should be an option AFTER friendship... They seemed to do great with Dragon Age, maybe they need cross seed their writers or something.Nissun wrote... I hate how ALL female characters are sexualized. Every-single-one. When it comes to male characters, they don't focus on that so much. Look at Mordin and Grunt! And Zaeed, though lots of us find him attractive, wasn't blatantly written for the ladies (when they try that, we end up with guys like Jacob).
Is it THAT hard to write a female character that doesn't get a "she's hawt I want to do her" response from everybody? Like, a friend, a mentor, something not so bloody obvious?

LI + dialogue tree, I can't imagine she is mute
She has no dialogue tree on the Normandy, like Zaeed.

This DLC better be good for 1.5 hours of gameplay and such. If it is super expensive( I am saying no more than 5 dollars) then I say screw it.
It's confirmed to be $7.

Well, I don't know what demographics/social standards/prejudices says about any difference, percieved or true, in the sort of games the majority of each gender prefers to play (although there is the whole Sims thing...), but given her title, I can only guess Christina refers to gameplay matters...
I'd like to mention that here's one male, at least, who is delighted at the prospect of another mission with, hopefully sizeable, chunks of non-shooter elements.

If you get to wear a dress as a female shepard and a tuxedo as a male. I hope to god you keep that outfit and you can wear it on the Normandy. If it's only in the mission, it's not really worthwhile.

Its more than 1.5 hours of gameplay, its a whole new squad member with her own lines, skills, weapon, personalised room on the Normandy etc.

Hear Hear. It's awkward as hell, dancing in Afterlife in my Cerberus Captain's jacket.
