Love ME Franchise but I wont pay $245.00 for a 35 hour ME game, so definately not paying $7.00 for a 1 hour Kasumi ME DLC.

Crap I was hoping for 400 MS points. Whatever 160 MS points isn't going to kill me.

So wait, sorry I guess I have been living under a rock lol.

New character and level; got that through recent news... but a new SMG too? Really? God... I love being a turtle!!!

Thanks Bioware... I will happily pay and support.

If it's only 1 hour, I won't pay $8. I need 4 hours of quality content to justify that price. However, if I win tomorrows power ball lotto, I will definitely splurge on the DLC.

I'm a wee bit pissed that I have to pay MORE for something that SHOULD have been included with my $60.00 purchase to begin with. *grumbles*.

Man, some of you are such cheapskates.

Bioware gave us a fantastic game and a bunch of free DLC, and Hammerhead will be free too. $7 is not exactly gonna break the bank, and I am a poor student. 1.5 - 2 hours of content, a new character, and a new SMG is more enjoyment than I'd get if I took $7 to a crappy movie theater, and it is certainly more than I have gotten out of a similar amount of money spent on content for other games. I'm all over it. Bioware deserves our support!

just a thought... you do realize you pay about 20$ for a two hour dvd right? So what is so wrong with paying around 10$ for a one hour interactive visual experience?

Believe me I hate parting with money too, but considering the amount of work that is involved with making this stuff I would say a ball park estimate of 10 bucks is more than fair.

Seriously dude? I'm not thrilled with the price either, but considering the all the stuff that we got for free, I can spare 8 bucks.

I'm not criticising your argument, and I understand it, but I think you may be overreacting a touch.

Either way, I'm gonna wait for the community's verdict on the price. A week after, if it seems worth the price I'll buy it.

As in, it'll have to be totally awesome to be worth that price .. so most likely not.

The problem is, if it were half the price, they won't get twice as many sales. So it's a question of optimising price point for max profit.

Damn you, powergamers.

Obviously, you are not a poor student or you wouldn't be comparing it to going to the theatre. I can't afford to see movie at the theatre anymore unless someone pays for my ticket.

I actually just got out of 4 years of college 6 months ago... yeah ouch; but if I put in some extra hours at my second job I can make 8 bucks in about 45 minutes.  The point is if you want it and can afford it buy it, if not then dont.... and if you want it but cant afford it, do some saving until you can.

Its called delayed gratification folks.

I don't pay $20 for a dvd. I pay about $2 or $3. I own 6 DVD's (3 were gifts). We aren't all made of money. When I go shopping at half price books and see that shiny new hardcover I want for only $8... I think to myself, "Good lord that's a lot of money!". And I look around for an older book for only $3 or $4.

I'm guessing a lot of you saying it's not so bad haven't been laid off yet.... or at least not repeatedly.

I was jobless after I graduated for 5 months, I completely feel ya.  Its just a matter of priorities.  I spent a good chunk of change to get an XBOX and ME/ME2, and I am in a position to continue that experience so I will.

Plus my point with the DVD thing was simply that it is standard.   Also, never forget that entertainment is a luxury not a right.

P.S.  Sorry to hear about your job circumstances... hang in there.

Don't get me wrong, I'm more than willing to buy DLC. But past $5, it starts moving out of the DLC range.

You're on the internet, and you have Mass Effect 2, and access to those things is certainly more than seven dollars. Just saying...

I will most likely purchase the new content. Basing the value of the purchase on the number of hours to me is ridiculous, because this pack is adding a mission that can, believe it or not, be played more than once, and it is a character that can be used for the entire game.

If I based all purchases on an hours to dollars ratio, everything I buy would seem like a rip off. "Well damn, I paid a dollar for this cup of coffee, and finished it in five minutes! I didn't get enough content per hour from that!"

Get over yourselves. If you don't like the price, don't buy it, I don't care. But someone who does buy this pack is not beneath anyone who skips out on it.

IF its correct and I wont believe anything until I hear it from BioWare.
Bring down the Sky cost only 400 Microsoft Points if my info is correct. So its really not that bad to pay 560 points for it is it?

Precisely the reason that I haven't been to a movie since winter break, when my dad was paying.
Then again, actually going to the theater is probably closer to $15 dollars if you count gas and the fact that a ticket is actually closer to $10 dollars, and that's assuming you don't get any food.  All the more reason $7 isn't such a bad price.

Yes it does, especially considering the amount of content we're getting. $8 is a little pricey but if it's a quality experience that I enjoy, I figure it'll be worth it. If the next DLC is about the same length and quality, but more expensive then it will definately be on the fence for me, as in i'll wait and hear if it's worth it first (Hell I might just do that with Kasumi too). But we have no evidence that the prices will increase at the moment, so I choose to remain optimistic and trust in Bioware's track record for the time being. Posted Image
