I just don't get it. Just because his name is "Howe" so many people want to kill him? I admit, Rendon was an ****, but he is dead, as much as we know, his family didn't do anything bad to us. I refused to take revenge at the coronation, because I thought it was stupid. Don't let the thoughts of revenge make you blind.
Agreed, I feel sorry for his children. It's not their fault their dad was a compleat ******.
It wasn't little Oren's fault either. The debt must be paid.
... with my Cousland character, anyway.

I can see hating the Howe's.............but killing this guy right of the bat is just immature and childish. He might be good at heart and a great companion. And considering he was imprisoned in his own family's territory..........hes bound to be a lil angry himself.
It doesn't matter to my Cousland. I guess it's like Anton Chigur from No Country For Old Men. There is a debt to be paid. One dead Howe for every dead Cousland. It's just the way it goes, I didn't make the rules. There are principles at stake. The best I can do is flip a coin if he impresses my Cousland enough.

Sten would have a fangirl club if everyone knew what Mark Hildreth looked like.
Besides, I foresee Nathaniel having a large fangirl club and lots of fanfiction written about him.
That deep booming like voice came from THAT dude? I think I'm somewhere between shocked and impressed now lol

This actually makes a lot of sense to me. Even though he was pretty crazy, he did have principles. I'm quite torn between this approach and mercy myself. He'll have a shot to impress me though. Or he'll earn his life through service to me.

Yes, yes it did. And he's hot on top of it. Nobody will ever look at Sten the same way again once they see him.HagSpawn wrote...

As far as i can tell Sten already has hopeless fangirls, completely unrelated to the looks of his VA

I've yet to see any of these elusive fangirls who didn't care about what his VA looked like.
I do really like him as a character as well. But it was a comment on what someone else said, I think. It's been a couple days since then.

My human noble would have busily gone about killing every vague relative of Rendon Howes and passing his daughters around to all the Denerim guards like the last pack of smokes at the prison yard. Unless Awakenings picks up about 30 seconds after the Archdemon is dead everyone of the Howe line is dead or chained up in a prison brothel working off their debt to society at a copper a go.
Now that is WAY overboard. So despite the fact that you've already killed Rendon Howe, you are willing to send every other family relative to jail or forced prostitution (which is basically rape)?
Who's the monster now?
