I was going to download the Warden's keep DLC and had a question about the storage crate that you get at camp. Is the crate available to use right away or do you have to complete the DLC quest to get it?

Gotta complete the DLC. But it's pretty fun and you get some good gear.

Just played it through...lots of fun and good gear as you said. Really gonna love that crate
