Please release another patch for Mass Effect, Bioware!

We PC gamers would love it if you would release HD textures (especially Garrus' face) in a patch.

Please consider it.

Not completely. It fixes a low-res icon of his face, not the in-game 3D model.

Unfortunately Bioware has stated that fixing Garrus' face texture (along with several others in the game) would require a multi-gigabyte patch. It's simply too time-consuming a job when they have ME2 to babysit now.



That said, in this same forum there's a thread on how to use TexMOD to port the hi-res textures of Garrus' face from ME2 into ME1, if you really can't stand looking at the low-res version.

I know. I still would love it if BioWare released a new patch. I'm not complaining, just requesting.

There is a recent fix that works flawlessly.

Jack Lamden, who has done tremendous work on this issue shortly after the release of 1.02, has stated what was said before, that it would likely require a multi-gigabyte patch. He has also said it would be unlikely that we'll see another patch. He did not indicate that one will never come. Interpret that as you will.

That's the resolution at whcih I play the game.  No patch was needed.

You can play Mass Effect 1 at 1920 x 1080. To do so, find the icon called "MassEffectConfig" in your Masseffect>Binaries folder and change the settings there.

Patch is more needed for fix this crap of DLC-s, no one isn't wok fine. i lose hours of playing becose of this... (sorry for english)
