Probably the best part of the game so far for me, 40h in. Sadly :( Don't let me get you down though, plenty of good stuff coming your way! Alistair is awesome.

There aren't so many EPIC moments like that but there are definitely moments after moments of awesomeness.

Yes...there were times when I was rolling around laughing at some of the comments..then the jabs at religion..(If you look for them I'm sure you can find them)...And then there were times when I was actually afraid to open the door..or walk down a hall..the scene and the music..and everything just came together..I won't ruin it..but you will know what I mean if you go through the Deep Roads.

I was pounding the screenprint key during the Ostagar movie - I'd been watching it on You Tube all summer and it still is pretty epic.

Reminds me a lot of Jackson's take on Helm's Deep from the Lord of the Rings: Two Towers movie.

Honestly didn't like it much, looked like a watered down version of LOTR helm's deep battle.

The wizard that joins your party if you didn't roll a mage comes with a paralyze spell -- that can be VERY handy that first encounter.

I loved that scene especially when they fired the arrows and mowed down those Darkspawn and then after they unleashed the hounds and watching them take down those Darkspawn was awesome.. But **** you Loghain you ****! Ruined the whole little fun of it all!

It's kind of silly to bump it.

I see it as good since that means somebody uses the search function instead of creating a new identical thread.

Whatever.

As for the Deep Roads . . . I was hoping that it would be longer :(
Would like to have visited some of the other Thaigs. Maybe they'll make a DLC(expansion?) where you can help the Dwarfs retake some of their territory.

Good point better having a month old topic that can help people then 50 new ones saying same thing.

I loved that part, and when you're running into Denerim in the endgame where all the soldiers are cheering you on. And the going-to-Denerim cutscene in general.

I really really love all the different ways conversations can go. Depending not only on which dialogue options you chose, but which gender you have and how much the npc likes you or not. And believe me or not, after 5 playthroughs I still discover new things that make me laugh or shed a tear or go "oooh I didn't know that"

Ostagar is still my favorite part of the game so far.

I also liked the end of Redcliffe battles when the soldiers shoot flaming arrows into the funeral boats. So much like the movie Eulogy.

You know I got bi***** at last night for doing this, and personally I think complaining about it is silly.

If I'm searching through the forum and I see a thread I wish to comment on then I should be allowed without worrying about offending the delicate sensibilities of those that have seen it before.

As for the topic at hand, yeah I agree it was a great scene to watch

A killer twist would of been if they had one of your NPC party members died in this battle too. Games need to be darker. Though I agree witht he guy that said deep roads need to be longer, to me it's the longest play through section, but after 5 play throughs now they are getting shorter and faster....lol since I kinda know where all teh bads are hideing. They should of put in more time for the finsih scenes instead of just text...
